QC is shit. Their guns are pretty well designed otherwise.

If the PT111G2 had a little more quality in it, and a better trigger, they could probably sell it at 300$ like hot cakes.

How are Howa and Weatherby rifles compared to the competition (Tikka, Savage, Browning, Ruger, etc).

They seem to be cheap, and have absurdly smooth actions for the price. About on par with Tikka's bolts in some cases. Are they accurate, and is there a hidden price for their cost?

Own both, Canik is nice but a weird design, Taurus is hit or miss on QC, if you get a good one, it's good for what it is, but they will never be a preferred gun.

The safest bets with Taurus are their clones. The PT92, PT1911, and most of their revolvers are generally okay.
