Alberta Meet Thread

Thread to discuss the upcoming 2016 Alberta/Western Canada meet.

>What is the meet?
Exactly what you think. A bunch of Anons meet up, shoot guns, make new shooting buddies (no homo) and have fun. Anons will likely show from both BC and Sask as well.

>When is the meet?
Tentatively scheduled for either New Years (so we can blow something up at the stroke of midnight) or just before or after Christmas.

>Where is the meet?
Obviously I'd like to avoid posting the exact location here for security purposes, but it is about an hour west of Edmonton. You can drive directly to the location in any sort of moderately capable vehicle. If you lack that, you will have to cross a tiny field on foot. There are very long sightlines allowing for long-range shooting.

>What sort of items should I bring?
If you intend to stay the whole time, bring your standard camping gear, food, water, etc. I plan to have a large fire for a /k/ookout.

Of course, but save it until after you finish shooting-we don't need any retarded mishaps like last time.

Something like that. Day and night shoots, I suppose. This is the first "big one", so I have no clue what the routine would be like.

Probably. I'm gonna go out and prep the area next weekend. I'll set up a fire pit, mark a DESIGNATED pooping area away from the camp, and clear my own personal camping spot.

I suggest dressing warm over tacticool.

Maybe someday ill take time off and go shoot with you guys out west but for now im stuck in Ontario
