i have the sp01 and p01. as far as ive seen i gotta say czs are pretty high quality firearms for the price however theyre not perfect. some cons have been constant in both of my pistols, both of them necessarily vital to their function but theyre there anyways.

1)coating. the finish on my sp01 is more faulty than my p01 which has had the finish wear off it a bity7 on the mag release (though i do carry it daily). the sp01s finish on the barrel is pretty bad, at least in my case. literally as soon as i bought it and started racking it and firing it the finish was wearing off. the internals arent coated as far as i know but i havent had any problems with that

2)tool marks. ive noticed this just on my sp01 which has series of circular marks i assume were left by the machine which cut the railings. there is also one edge inside the sp01 which literally has some steel poking off a ledge like the tip of an ice cream cone and is kind of sharp. really dont like looking at that. my p01 as far as i can tell has no tool marking at all and overall of higher quality and my favorite of the two

these are pretty much all the cons im sure youve heard about cz by now, just wanted to let you know what you might get yourself into. theyre great guns, its just that the slavs that make them probably have a mindset of not caring how ugly the gun turns out as long as it turns out good. also, there have been some reports of the sp01 being a jam o matic. i myself havent had this problem with either of my pistols but its something to keep in mind.

i myself would recommend you to look at the p01, pcr or the p09.

im too lazy to take pictures of my czs and the flaws on the sp01 but if you guys want to see them bad enough i can take them
