I own this gun. It hurts. 244 gr hurts more than 350 too interestingly enough.

The complaint of recoil is not about, "oohhh noo that magnum is going to break your wrist only big boys can shoot".

It's just an uncomfortable thing to deal with after a long enough time.

Literally the only gun I've ever shot where I stopped shooting it because of the pain.

I didn't have any trouble controlling a Glock 18, though. Everyone that day was surprised at how easy it was to keep on target at reasonable pistol distances - I mean, yeah, I'll get more accurate hits not firing full fun, but I can quite easily hold a machine pistol at minute-of-man accuracy up to like 30 yards. Not sure what everyone's going on about it being completely useless.

Nope. Only handguns I have are a Tokarev, P64 and a Colt Navy repro. It is pretty rare, though, but both of my brothers have it. I just have it way worse than they do. My hands actually shake worse than my dad's.

I've heard working out more helps with that, makes all the adrenaline which could be causing that get used up by lifting heavy weights or running. My hands for the past 12-14 months were shaking real bad in the morning but would get better as the day progressed, and it's been a sine wave of getting better then getting worse. Thought it was because of my drinking but it doesn't seem to cause a difference. Been trying to work out more and I have very little shaking now, could be a placebo or it could be a number of other things (had a lot of stress going on at the time.)
