Yeah, it's a long story but I've been hosting since the beginning. Been at every NuggetFest since the get go, run the NuggetFest website and sell NuggetFest swag to help with costs of hosting.

It's cool though, I mean not everyone has time to lurk /k/ all the time and you're definitely not the only one that doesn't know the same guy (me) hosts/coordinates every event. Looking forward to the email.

Amarillo VA is pretty good. They had some non-qualled people diagnosing TBIs a while back, but other than that haven't heard any thing bad. I rarely go though. I should probably make an appointment.

i have to say, the VA there is p small so idk what they treat there, here in SA we have 7 floors so we do all kind of shit specially because the doctors are new/retarded/both. also we treat people from all surrounding little cities so patients come and go like clockwork.

Canyon/Amarillo Kommando, I have family who work at the VA. They love it. I'm a healthcare worker as well and it seems everyone is vying for a job there.

I know I would do it in a heartbeat. But it's the kind of job people don't give up, they retire out of it. Anyways, they have a new Director and apparently he's pretty laid back. Way better than the old guy.

I know a lot of people who work there, what branch would you be getting into? Nursing? Police? Admin? IT? I can tell you my thoughts.

They very rarely hand out LC's (or whatever you guys call them, where they send you home) and people always get their hours in from what I've seen and heard from friends.

I don't believe the Texas Tech medical center has Residents over there nor does WTAMU or Amarillo College allow any sort of clinical at the VA. You should be pretty clear of most fuckups.

It's BSA/Northwest Hospitals that are filled to the brim with fuck up Docs and absolutely shitty management. Avoid at all costs.
Home Health & The VA are the golden tickets for healthcare workers in Amarillo.

Houston here, super interested in attending a nuggetfest. Can I get some info on the grapeland nuggetfest? Day, time, location, rules, and etiquette? Never been to a meetup and don't know what to expect.

Final thoughts: The VA here is fantastic.

But do not live in Amarillo. Look into living in Canyon. Sure, it's a 15 minute extra drive -- but in that drive, you get a car nicer city with little to no crime and plenty of young women. It's a city full of old traditional people who live here and young people attending WT. I live here and I love it.

Amarillo is full of Beaners, Nigs and white trash. Constant break ins and the McHart/Lee families are unbelievably fucking corrupt. They basically own all of the land around Amarillo making it impossible for the city to further expand outwards and they constantly promote all their own business ventures under the guise of, "Keep your business local!".

Dallas reporting in. I plan on going to Nuggefest in Feb, but I'm eager for any chance to go shooting. Plenty of decent pistol ranges around here, but zero rifle ranges that I would even hesitate to call decent.

My only request is that you try and give us at least 4-5 weeks notice so that I can try to get off work.
