Why would anyone buy any makarov variant that isn't the cz82?
The only negative that could be attributed to it would be incompatibility with the self-cocking holster.
>>32003642
the mag release button is too recessed for me. also, actual cz mags are kind of pricey, like $40 each. i mean real cz crossed swords mags, not "cz-82" magazines that cdnn sells for $20
>>32003642
It's black and doesn't look as nice,

>dickgrips
Because if I want a 9x18 pistol I'd like it to not be over-engineered to all shit, have a mag release that will work reliably, and not have a cartoonishly bad finish. Oh, and be really CC friendly.
Fuck the CZ-82.
>>32004271
I wholeheartedly disagree. Double stack with a somewhat anemic round is a plus. Reloading and finish for a CCW seem like afterthoughts, although I've never had a problem with ejecting a magazine, and kind of like the "crude black paint" finish (along with the white hammer and sickle).
>>32004308
I wholeheartedly disagree and think its an over-complicated mistake with a dogshit mag release and a snag/poke-happy hammer and backstrap.
>>32004331
I disagree, of course, but don't really see where you're coming from. It's a double stack makarov, which mitigates some of the downsides of the original gun. Don't really see how a straight blowback gun could be considered over-engineered, and the style of the hammer seems a bit like nitpicking.
Never had a problem with the magazine release, but getting a fresh mag to seat seems like a downside having to use the thumb to make sure it clicks into place.
>>32004358
> It's a double stack
So it's automatically less suited for CC.
>Don't really see how a straight blowback gun could be considered over-engineered
Are you joking? The CZ-82 is, from a mechanical standpoint, a crime against nature, precisely -because- it's a direct-blowback pistol and the retards at CZUB managed to design it with more individual parts than a cocksucking Luger or C-96.
>and the style of the hammer seems a bit like nitpicking.
It most certainly is fucking not if we're talking about a CC piece and why someone would take a Makarov over it.
>Never had a problem with the magazine release
Use it for a while, wait for the left (or right) sight to cease functioning altogether or the entire convoluted clamshell mechanism to gum up in general.
Fuck this pistol, I can't believe I wasted money on getting Marschal grips for it. Talk about lipstick on a pig.
>>32004425
Come on, be civil. He wasn't impolite to you.
>>32004425
You seem passionate about your disdain for this gun
>>32004447
Fuck you.
>>32004425
Thing's my favorite CCW pistol with a 9# wolff spring and buffalo bore "+p+" cast lead. Just fits my hands great. I don't see why anyone wouldn't want a 12 round version of this affordable military-tested pistol. Would recommend.
>anons asks why someone would not get Czechmak
>gets answer in detail that points out negatives of pistol
>apparently doesn't like that
What is the point of this thread
Autistic tripfag bait, I guess
>>32004528
Circlejerk for the posters here who were poor to the point that the 82 was a serious option.
>>32004528
mental masturbation, I suppose...
>>32004562
I actually like my 82 over my RAMI, oddly.
What's a good CCW holster for this?
Seriously considering an Urban Holster for it.
>>32004447
I bet you're wearing one of those safety pins on your shirt.
NIGGER!
>>32004592
I use the desantis pro stealth holster. Kinda loose and would not be good if you had to tumble around (only held in by gravity), but for convenience something you can just throw on your belt with another mag strapped in is just nice for a errand run.
>makarov variant
This offends my autism. Only thing the Mak and 82 have in common is the cartridge.
>>32004490
I like the CZ-82 alot for what it is but I would seriously recommend you take a look at the civvie PMM variants like the IJ-70, because they are amazing
>>32004460
He's not really wrong about any of those points though it literally has more parts than a luger
luger= 50
cz82= 51
That's honestly kind of absurd.
Also there's plenty of search results for mag release issues in google, seems stiffness is a key complaint.
>>32004425
>So it's automatically less suited for CC.
Which is why every faggot recommends a GLAWK 19
>Are you joking? The CZ-82 is, from a mechanical standpoint, a crime against nature, precisely -because- it's a direct-blowback pistol and the retards at CZUB managed to design it with more individual parts than a cocksucking Luger or C-96.
If it works it works. You don't need to be an uppity nigger about it. You could actually learn about the handgun instead of bitching about it. A tripfag with the name "MilSurp" shouldn't be too hard for you.
>It most certainly is fucking not if we're talking about a CC piece and why someone would take a Makarov over it.
It is nitpicking, dipshit. Pretty sure those old cops who carried snubbies didn't bitch about the hammer.
>Use it for a while, wait for the left (or right) sight to cease functioning altogether or the entire convoluted clamshell mechanism to gum up in general.
Having to perform maintenance on an old ass pistol? That's fucking ludicrous bro!
I'll take those grips off of ya for 10 bucks dude.
>>32004635
This is why I like CZ. A blatant "fuck you."
>>32004627
Which model did you order for it? I'm guessing Glock 19?
>>32004657
That is acceptable.
>>32004653
GG
>>32004670
May be 26? Says DeSantis n87 e1 and I know it's the stealth pro series.
Of course this system fails if you get knocked down or otherwise have gravity work against it, but really like how it's a grab-and-go type of holster. Great for errands, grocery runs, or that type of thing, although it's never fallen out in the woods yet either.
>>32004425
Preach, the cz-82 is an alright pistol, but it's heinous overengineering is hard to ignore.
Compare cz

>>32004747

>>32003642
The Makarov carries better. Plus East German Maks are really nice.
>>32004755
>>32004763
Interesting, any direct military field trial comparisons?
>>32004796
>East German Maks are really nice
Cannot objectively argue against that, but would say that the CZ82 is pretty svelte and carries just as well in my subjective experience.
>>32004755
Reminder
I really don't know what they were thinking when making the cz82.
>>32004755
Why are there so many fucking pins?
>>32004869
Because it's an incredibly inefficient design.
>>32004869
Pin it to win it
>>32004635
Funny they improved on the design for every single one of these. Instead of being a copy of the Colt 1903, the Czechs produced a superior weapon. Even their AK variant is hands down superior.
>>32004969
But the CZ52 is pretty much inferior in every way to the Tokarev
>>32003642
>self-cocking holster
Someone explain.
>>32003642
Because the CZ 82 isn't produced anymore
>>32004271
Once again you prove to be a gigantic faggot. Enjoy your nigger cock grips, flamer.
>>32003642
Why would anyone think a cz82 is a makarov variant? Unless they're some kind of ultra casual.

You can push it through which racks the slide. Can't seem to find the manufacturer in my 30 seconds of google, but last time I looked them up they also make one for glock 17s.
