How do I reconcile civil libertarian beliefs, while also finding military tech FUCKING AESTHETIC?

Really this is just an excuse thread to post more aesthetic vehicles, don't mind me.

>implying private corporate armies would not buy even cooler tech.
Armies only buy the coolest thing if it also happens to be the cheapest.
Damn, when did Amazon start building MRAPs?
I'm in the same boat OP. I personally am unnerved by the growing lack of privacy and I remember hearing about the Katrina gun confiscation like it was yesterday.
However I think there is difference between effective riot control and an attack on our liberty. I believe that sometimes Law Enforcement requires vehicles like these.
The important thing in my eyes is to insure that our rights are preserved by ballot. This was done effectively during this election, and proof in my opinion that the system still works.
And the riots and protests that have followed this election may yet vindicate their purpose, like in Baltimore.
>Not being full blown AnCap
>Not wanting to hire legions of riot police to counter opposition riot police
>Not recreating ancient shield wall battles with riot shield private police
Fucking lolbertarians

Liberal reporting in.
One can have an appreciation of the military (history, tactics & technology) without being a hawk. My interest in the military is a hobby, it doesn't necessarily dictate my political beliefs. I also believe that if the Left had a better understanding of the military, it would be misused less often. Examples includes Clinton's missteps in Africa and Carter's in Iran.
