Is there any carryover from airshit to real guns? This guy seems to think so.

Any of you do this? Any good replicas?

/k/ will shitpost but like he said it's a great way to build muscle memory
Bump
Come on guys, convince me they're a useful tool to be more operator and not faggy toys.

If you have a setup like the dude in the video then yes, it could absolutely be a great training tool.
I shoot USPSA and he's doing exactly what we do.
>wtf I love airsoft now
not building muscle memory if you've got no recoil, changing follow up shots and potentially encouraging limp wristing
>>31998172
why does there need to be justification? if you enjoy it, you should do it.
>>31998191
What if I don't compete or own a gun and only occasionally shoot at the range?
>>31998224
Ude some common sense, anon. Muscle memory is muscle memory. It might not help with aiming (it might) but it will certainly be a cheap way to form muscle memory. Probably great for practicing your draw if you use the same holster.

>don't own a gun
First of all, why not?
Second, it might still help a little but if it's fun then who cares?
>>31997802
i don't think you can exactly replicate firearm training with bb's, especially given the direct lack of recoil. That doesn't mean i don't have a daisy pellet gun and some steel targets for plinking in my neighborhood while i'm not at the range.
shit's fun
>>31998310
Don't know if an actual gun is worth the money, I still have to go to the range to shoot it might as well use the ones there.
>Second, it might still help a little but if it's fun then who cares?
I feel I might get bored and regret buying a toy.
>>31998329
Isn't the unholstering and trigger pull much more important than the recoil?
I thought about getting one but couldn't decide. Any recommendations for one that would be good for USPSA production like a Glock clone or something
>>31998210
>There are airshits with recoil
>You'd have to be a really shit shooter to suddenly start limp wristing after shooting some airsoft
>>31997802
Its a fun hobby, anything that improves your muscle memory is a plus.
Also with airshit you can actually do simulation drills on the cheap
http://www.airsplat.com/we-p226-metal-gas-blowback-airsoft-gun.html get a we 226. as much recoil as an airsoft can get, full metal body ect.
or get an airsoft version of whatever real pistol you have.

It looks legit, but I have a question.
I shoot idpa and am decent, but when pieing corners I feel like I take too much time, and no matter how fast I do it I feel like were the targets real I'd be killed.
Is the idea that most people shooting back aren't that accurate/fast and a competent shooter would land roads on them (bad guy) before they got shot back?
