PASGT is a good helmet. Also look for an American tanker helmet. Good shit there. Or a Russian sphere. Or if super-poorfag look for a Serbian/Yugoslav steel helmet, those are cheap as fuck.

It's a TQS M9 assault medical backpack. TSSI and AWS sell them as well (AWS might actually be the original manufacturer). They go for around 200-300, but try to check Fleabay for a better deal.

I can definitely agree with that. They're pretty comfortable and the BOSE ones offer active hearing protection (just pop in an AA battery).

Can't help you with the helmet part, what functionality are you expecting from the gas mask? If you're doing cosplay/dress up, get whatever gives you the visual effect you're looking for.

If you're looking for genuine respiratory protection, get a 3M full or half face respirator and cartridges suitable for the threat your facing.
