>he calls his AR an M4
>he call his gun a weapons platform
>he calls his gun a weapons system
>he has buis, a long range scope, a reddot and an eotech and a bipod/vertical grip on his gun but cant shoot past 50 yards
>he practices clearing the rooms in his house with full battle rattle because when a home invader kicks in his door at 3 am he'll be wearing a platecarrier and mag pouches etc
>he has a piston AR
>>31976007
>bipod for wall stability
I don't see anything wrong with this.
>>31976007
>full length rail with nothing but iron sights and "handstop"
>>31976007
i got back problems from this picture.
>>31976063
>can't appreciate the most aesthetically pleasing configuration of the AR platform
What's wrong with practicing room clearing?
>>31976007
>>he calls his AR an M4

mrin

Nothing. Practicing for scenarios that may be unlikely is never a bad idea, just like practicing shooting targets in an urban environment, from different positions etc.
When you do that wearing gear you know full well that you won't have, that's the problem. You're not going to have your chest rig, boots and ear pro on when you wake up at 3am to J'Kwanda culturally enriching your home.

>Form over function
Isn't this something that nearly all of /k/ can collectively agree on hating?
>>31976361
dgi is perfectly fine
>>31976457
I'm not a autist, I don't know all the terms for gas operated rifles
You basically described everyone in the AR general
>>31976476
Piston is how AKs work and DGI (Direct Gas Impingement) is how standard ARs work but in recent years a bunch of companies have been making piston ARs because of the jam-proof meme.
Not the anon you replied to btw
>>31976317
>mirin an 800 dollar rifle
I swear you guys just invent boogeymen to get mad at
>>31976694
That's a gross oversimplification of gas operated rifles.
>>31976694
ARs use an internal short stroke piston. They are nothing at all like a gas impingment action.
>>31976372
Maybe for an HD piece.
But I know a lot of us (myself included) lust over good looking guns, regardless of whether they are the ideal setup for ______scenario.
>>31976181
You literally couldn't be more wrong.
>>31976848
You're wrong too
>>31976974
Case hardened
>>31976007
>he buys an ar made by someone other than colt
I hear you bud. Some people are just stupid though
>>31976998
That just might be the ugliest receiver I've ever seen.
Nice furniture tho.
>>31976746
I... No. Just no.
>>31977167
Well, I mean he isn't WRONG. The Stoner gas system could be visualized as a short stroke piston, except the entire body of the bolt carrier is the piston.
>>31976974
Hot.
>>31976281
>he posts a picture of an overpriced AR-15 with a rollmark sought out by autists
>>31976007
So who is he?
>>31976707
>dat fun pin
>>31977224
Colt marks LE6920s with M4 carbine. It's just a regular semiautomatic rifle.
>>31977224
It doesn't have one.
>>31977186
The bolt is the piston. The bolt carrier forms the cylinder.
>>31976351
>not keeping your plate carrier readily accessible by your bed
>>31976281
lol i just reported it stolen
>>31976707
What is a giggle switch
>>31976007
Eh I mean mostly. But when referring to all kinds of rifles under a certain pattern I do call it a platform. IE: AR platform, AK platform.
>>31976047
>bipod for wall stability
God forbid your walls aren't stable when you're firing your weapon.
>>31976007
That dental work after he fires from that position.
