Convince me to not buy a stainless Series 70 1911 or a stainless

I really like my 1911, but I never like shooting the 92f, so I would say go with the 1911.

I'd say 92fs. Less reloading at the range, cheaper ammo, and you can pretend to be John Woo if you ever get two of them.
Also stainless 1911's are for slack jaws and faggots.

the 92fs is just such more of a breath of fresh air, especially that one. It looks like it belongs in some futuristic anime and that's cool even if you're not into that shit. The 1911 is garbage as a CCW and has few rounds. It's still cool but I'd rather own a 92fs before a 1911. 9mm vs 45ACP is also a big concern, and I'd rather have 9mm before 45ACP. The 1911 will probably feel nicer to shoot, but if you plan on using this for protection, you'd rather have the 92fs. your dick isn't going to be any bigger because you have a 45ACP instead of 9mm.

21+1 in 9mm, although if you ever only had the smaller mags, you'd be fucked, so in reality it's a bit dumb maybe and you'd be better off with P-07 still with 17 round mags, where the 21 round p-09 mags do fit.

Or you could go with a Ruger 1911, it has a series 70 firing pin, none of that series 80 bullshit. Plus it comes in stainless, and you'd save a bit of dosh.

Relevant question for this thread, who still makes all stainless steel 1911s that are at least slightly above average quality? I had a hardballer once that I regretted selling and now I want a 1911 again, but I don't really know the manufacturers anymore.

the 1911 is a fun range toy, still a fairly practical duty weapon but the beretta is more of a duty weapon
you cant go wrong with either but ive always found 1911s to be a "next level" pistol, not something to start with IMO. The breakdown, the maintenance (depending) the possible upgrades make it a bit more to take on if youre starting. You certainly could, but I'd say the beretta is a little easier
