Cocobolos just came in the mail yesterday. Let's see those wooden grips, phamalam.

Ayyyy ramibro.
Does the decocker fully uncock the gun or does it drop it to half cock? Asking for a friend.
>>31956811
looks like shit
>>31956811
Why do those grips look so beat up? Also why not based VZs?
>>31956909
Because my phone takes shit pictures.
>>31956909
probably the best color scheme possible for a 1911. I have those grips on my cheapo rock island as well and theyre excellent
pat yourself on the back
>>31956811
They suck
>>31959115
No u
>>31956811
Listen nig I don't know how else to say this but those do not look well made, I can't tell if that's tearout or just shit stuck inside the checkering.
Clean that shit up with some turpentine or mineral spirits and repost. also what finish does it have? I'd recommend refinishing, 90% of factory finishes can be replaced with an oil based finish and look infinitely better.
>>31956811
Yeah I bet you love to grip some wood huh
>>31959251
Not the poster but we wtf, that's a sexy little pistol, what triggered you so bad? /k/ is not your safe space bruh
>>31959376
It's not about the pistol you spurg, it's about the apparent tear out on the checkering, like I said. I like the style it just appears as if the machining was done with a dull bit or their checking tool was shit if done by hand.
>>31956811
I love some good hard wood in my hands.
1/2
>>31959682
Only two aren't wood, and I have furniture for the 700ADL, but need the parts to convert to a BDL.
2/2
Getting some wood grips for my Bersa next paycheck.
>>31959682
>Rouge Nation
PNWfag?
>>31959559
It's the lighting. Look at the second pic.
>>31956811
I just made these. I need to get actual checkering tools.
>>31959220
They become lose if you actually shoot it
>>31960071
any issues with the stock slide release? the one on my 10mm version was absolute garbage and had to be replaced ASAP
grip screws needed to be replaced after stripping on the first and only disassembly, since replaced and loctited the fuck out of the grips
front sight (transparent plastic "night sight") flew 15 meters downrange at and indoor range one day and i now have a filed off shiny nail in that hole because fuck replacing fake ass plastic night sites
warranty is already fucked, but god damn do i feel ripped off with how much money and effort it took to make this thing function properly.
i still like it but in hindsight i truly regret not buying any other pistol for the price

>Does the decocker fully uncock the gun or does it drop it to half cock? Asking for a friend.
Not him but the BD version drops it back to DA.
Fuug, I think the CZ RAMI BD is the subcompact DA/SA 9mm for me. Nobody around me has one for rent and CZ rarely makes the fuckers
I've since sold it. Kind of regret selling, but not all that much; never been able to like revolvers.
>>31961956
Gee maybe next time don't get a bargain bin gun.
>>31956811
OK CZ fags
I was t a cz 2075 9mm for CC.
Decocker or manual safety
>>31964331
>Decocker or manual safety
If you want to run it as a DA/SA, BD. If you want to use it cocked and locked like a 1911, the standard model.
This is a pretty good writeup on the RAMI by Mike Pannone.

>>31964383
thanks bro
i really dislike clocked and locked.
seems so baby boomer like.
>>31963797
Is half cocked not still considered double action?
>>31965975
when you decock it, the hammer returns to half cock or the safety notch like in the pic.>>31956820
>>31961956
Last time I went to the range I had the slide lock open randomly twice, but I'm not if my thumb was hitting the lever. Gun's been fine otherwise. Everything's tight and smooth.
>>31964990
>seems so baby boomer like.
lmfao
But on the real, I don't like SAO or 1911's at all. DA/SA all the motherfucking way.
>>31956909
Am I the only one who hates how they look? its just too much going on, looks like some kind of abstract high school art project
I prefer plan looking grips myself
>>31956811
I cant decide of wood grips on an Inox beretta look classy or tacky
>>31968451
Depends what wood.
Try different types of both light and dark wood to see what you prefer.
Also depends if it's got an all-weather finish or just a normal stainless steel one. The all weather one really looks shit with anything you put on it (shiny/chrome guns do generally look better than matte).
Pic related looks good
>>31956877
Not him but my sp01 goes to half cock position like in anons picture. Da is all the way up
>>31965975
"double action" means the trigger cocks the hammer back and drops the hammer
"single action" means the trigger only drops the hammer
DA/SA handguns have the trigger cock the hammer--if it is not already cocked--then drop the hammer
So yes, from half-cocked, the double action pull will cock the hammer and drop it. The trigger can still cock the hammer from fully decocked and drop it.
I put a set of wood grips on my P1 which are far more comfortable than the checkered plastic grip panels it came with. I bought this P1 to retire my P.38 from range duty.

Still kicking myself I missed those byf/ac 42-44 NOS imports from who's-its emporium for $799+ship about 2 years back....
>>31970761
I would like a decent byf example as well. My ac41 was a wartime capture from my grandfather.
Here's my nicest set of grips - Keith Brown custom Coke bottle grips on my Model 29-2.
>>31970782
Now thats some nice wood. Ain't nothin quite like some nice tiger-stripe
Got some rosewoods for the magwell.
My first gun with wooden grips.
>>31966898
This is what I wanted to know. Thanks.
buckeye burl on my 1911.
peasants all of you
>>31963797
rami is goat carry gun
