I stopped going to my range because of these people and built a berm in my backyard to shoot at. Too many kids (all around 18-24 years old) showing up with plate carriers, hardknuckle gloves, patches everywhere, radio, 5-10 spare mags in pouches, AR/AK at low ready. Sometimes even those fucking face mask things and helmets. To shoot at paper targets.

And they blouse their damn pants like they are in or have ever been in the military. They wear camelbaks to the range and desert camo even though this is Tennessee and there are no deserts here.

What the fuck is wrong with gear queers? How do you guys afford all this shit at the young an age? Do your parents buy them for you? (Your parents giving you money and you buying them counts as them buying it for you)

I seriously think all gear queers are trust fund kids who play call of duty all day. The TAR21 has a barrel that shakes and "recoils" when holding down the trigger

The closest kind of toy that isn't 100% gimmicky like airshit or paintball is RAM. It has a nice feel to it, functions somewhat realistically, but can also be used for fun games on the field (as opposed to simunations or real guns). I wish there was some real steel RAM stuff being available to fuck around with.

Mh... just looked up some RAM shops... the P99 RAM pistol I bought years ago for like 150€ is now offered as repaired versions for nearly 400€, as production stopped. I barely got to use mine sadly, only thing missing is a spring for the uncocking lever, so with that replaced it is in almost new condition and fully functional. But I don't want to sell it, I love that thing desu. I know a few years ago the price was like 200ish.

Constantly innovating and changing gear around, figuring out what works for you, the wait time on new prts, it honestly reminds me of tuning a car. I don't plan on getting in a firefight just like tuners don't plan on getting into 160mph high speed chases. Sure both might be fun in their own adrenaline pumping ways but it's about the hobby and the spirit.

Ausfag here, my brothers and the other kids in the street have like 20 of these guns all up, they all run around in milsurp shooting at each other.
If they die they either respawn in my backyard or the house at the top of the street depending on what team they're on.
I'd be lying if I said at 22 with 5 real guns I didn't still play too.
Some of the kids don't like when I play though because I faction lock the guns to NATO/Soviet.. but they all want to be on my team because my gear is cooler (I play scenario paintball) and my tactics are better.
