Eurofag here.
I'm about to go shoot pic related at 10 yards, for time.
I'm used to shooting paper at 25 yards.
Should I hold high or low?
Any pointers?
Using a Glock 17 btw.

Prepare yourself for fun because shooting at reactive targets is better than punching holes in paper.
If you are used to paper you will find this easier.
As far as time. It's cliche as hell but: slow is smooth, smooth is fast.
Don't overthink it. "Sights on target, squeeze trigger, sight picture on same target in case you missed or it didn't fall, assess, next target and repeat"

I've done this once before like two years ago,
Fun as hell, but I forgot where I ended up holding after some trial and error.
We don't have much time and there are going to be a lot of people watching, hence my question.

it's a pistol. you don't need to worry about high or low. you will be the sole limiting factor. aim center at the biggest part.

don't listen to this guy, he's retarded noguns.
at 25 yards (meters) with a 9mm glock, you'll need to aim 3ft (1 meter) high to compensate for drop. I can't find the formula right now, but bullet weight is also a factor, be sure to ask if you're shooting 500gr or 750gr bullets, add another 6" if youre shooting the heavier 750gr.

this is bait.
You won't need to change your hold, if you've got factory sights they should be nuts on for 10 yards.

>9mm
>500gr or 750gr

1 meter high
earth accelerates things towards itself at 9,81 m/s^2
we drop one meter down
that makes the flight time of about half a second
so we go 50 meters in a second
im pretty sure that bullets are faster than this
I grabbed a couple of these things, am I going to shoot my eye out?

Hopefully because you're a retarded tripfag.
They're fine for shooting.

Word I figure it's fine but they do warn that shooting at the ground has ricochet risks
