Are there any of the $500ish wonder 9's that have a SAO 1911-ish trigger?

An RIA 1911 chambered in 9mm.

Thanks but the msrp is $760 AND it's not a wonder 9, low cap.

Or a Hi-Power in good condition.

If I went RIA it would be

Thought about a Hi-Power but I've never shot one. I get hammer bite from 1911's without the beavertail though and I've always heard Hi-powers have shitty triggers.
Anyway, asking if any polymer 9's, came with a 1911-ish trigger.

Only polymer SAO I know of off the top of my head is the Canik TP9SA. I've heard mixed things about them. They're below 400 too last I checked.

Hi Power's aren't wonder nines. That term refers to the rise in popularity of double stack 9mm's like CZ's, 226's and 92's.

>Browning Hi Power
>literally the first handgun to feature a double stack mag
Wut
>>31915591
Yeah the guy you are replying to is kind of stupid. It's true the Hi Power has a double stack 9mm magazine (although it doesn't hold as much as some wonder 9s), but the browning hi power is a single action, while double action is also one of the main trademarks of wonder nines.
I like the TP9SA trigger as well as the M&P with flat faced apex kit.

I own a CZ 75 SAO. You could probably pick one up for $550 if you don't live in a shit state.
>>31914311
Hi power triggers are pretty bad until you pull out the magazine disconnect anyway.
If the OP wants a 1911 trigger pull, he's probably going to have to get some flavor of 1911. It would be more than $500 but maybe he can find one of the RIA 2011 double stacks used?
Not a "wonder 9" but the closest thing is a CZ P07. You can get one for ~$400-$430 which is actually really nice.
>>31918454
It's not the God machine by any means but a P07 is absolutely a wonder nine. Now if you're gonna complain about capacity, the P09 is the wonderest of wonder nines
>>31914208
I think a SAO 75 would be your best bet.
That, or a cocked and locked p07 or p09
>>31914208
I mean, the closest you're probably going to get is a striker fired gun with a single action type release for around that or a little more. at least of everything I can think thinking of now, which would be more current production stuff..
Grand Power pistols have the best triggers I've played with. Not a single action, but the trigger is better than most single actions.

>while double action is also one of the main trademarks of wonder nines.
Like the Glock?
>>31914208
You could just get a S&W 5906 and shoot it in single action
>>31923091
I got this but the trigger is kind of shit, even single action. For starters the pull is sort of gritty feeling and then the break is inconsistent and with creep. That is after 100+ rounds though, it's not as bad when the gun is clean but every now and then the break will be harder than expected.
Today I filled the action with FLITZ valve polish and used a snap cap to dry fire about 50 times then detail stripped it, wiped everything down with FLITZ and cleaned and oiled it. Basically the old "toothpaste trigger job" technique. We'll see if it helped next time I go to the range.
Oh, and the roll pin for the mag release keeps walking out. I've got an e-mail out to HK, it'll be interesting to see if they respond.
SIG never responded about the ammo. SIG's are gay anyway.

sure
get a RIA 9mm 1911
surplus high power if you do some digging
