EDC thread? my current EDC i'll list my uses before people

Current EDC is a smith and wesson SD9VE

I see you're using an XDS,i used to carry one.
It became cumbersome after awhile.
Having a compact that weighs more than a full size just didn't make sense to me.
How do you like it?

i sometimes carry a p229, full size 1911, 686 with 4" barrel or a full size xd-40 and it's much lighter than any of those

that said i like it a lot. never personally had a malfunction and it recoils a lot less than a .45 that size should.

Heavier than anything with a polymer frame.
I'm not saying the thing weighs 30 pounds, but for me personally i have to get in and out of cars a lot for my job , and eventually after 10+ hours a day , the thing got uncomfortable

That's outrageous man. I struggle to even carry around my wallet, cellphone, and keys comfortably. But then again I don't dress like a smuch (assuming you wear cargos and whatnot to carry all that shit around). But again what you have going on there...that's ridiculous. When I leave CA, after graduating I'm just gonna +my shield 9mm to what I already carry daily. To add a knife and a flashlight and all that jazz...what are you a fuckin' cop? Jesus.

i do wear cargos but i only use the knee pockets for my cigarettes on left side and my work handheld computer thingy on the right side. they're uniform issue though so i'd be fine without the extra pockets desu.

I call BS. No one carries that much stuff all day.
