Paid 465 for this new 19+1 pistol. Shoots great on DA/SA with a smooth trigger pull. Not alot of aftermarket parts but after glock, springfield, and S&W the market really falls off

Bullet drop is the limiting factor. Even out of a carbine most pistol rounds need like a 20 degree hold over to reach past 150 yards.

My CZ75 B was the first gun I bought.

I like it a lot. I don't understand the hype though -- it was a fairly affordable gun at $495 out the door after taxes in 2012, and while the fit and finish are nice, I've certainly seen better quality guns in my life. It feels right in my hand, partly because I'm used to it, and partly because I have big hands.

Here's my CZ. It's a 75B Omega, which is discontinued I guess. I went to Academy with the intention of buying a Glock (either a 19 or 17, depending on which felt better). However, I noticed a P-09 which I had never seen before. I picked it up and really liked it, much more than the similarly priced Glocks. But, they said they only had the one in stock and couldn't sell any guns anyway since the NICS was down. I asked about any more in stock anywhere else, and they directed me to another store. Sure enough, that store had P-07s and P-09s in stock, and NICS was back up. But, I noticed this little cutie on the back row and asked to hold it. It just feels perfect to me, not too wide or too long, just all around great. They had a few in stock so I picked it up and haven't looked back since.

I kinda want to get a threaded barrel for my CZ, but then that raises the issue of fitting, since I don't think I have the tools or skill to make the new barrel fit if it doesn't right out of the box. At 100 feet, a bullet going even 500 fps is going to get there in 0.2s, meaning bullet drop will be 2.4". And most bullets travel much, much faster

you dont know how wrong you are. Every time I go to a gun store there is someone asking about a CZ, or renting one for the indoor range. I went to a gun store tuesday and while I was looking at rifles they got two phone calls of people asking for CZ SP 01s. When I was at a gun show two months ago I met at least 3 other people who went solely to find an SP-01, the same reason I went to the show. When I found the ONLY vendor that had some there were two other guys filling out paperwork for SP-01s at the same time I was.

CZs are becoming insanely popular. Just wait and see their popularity in a year.

I have no problems with mine.

It's the most comfortable gun I've ever shot.

Everything is in reach of my hand.

People breaking slide stops are
1. using lighter than stock springs
2. Not replacing the $7 stock spring at 5,000 rounds.

Tooling marks are super minimal and only on the inside of the slide.(older models were way worse)

They don't affect reliability or accuracy at all.

I really like Beretta m92s as well.

Slide stops break because of the design. The gun is over sprung in stock form and I default to the various people on Brianna that gave had them break. Kek even the tac sport and tac sport orange come with extra slide stops.

In the most recent Ben stoeger practical pistol show they talk a bit about CZ's breaking slide stops more than tanfos.

For the price the level of shitty machining is pretty atrocious
