So I'm pretty sure I just heard a bunch of gunshots outside from a distance. How do I find out if that's actually what I heard? I shoot quite a lot, so I feel like I would know gunshots from other noises.

Update for anyone actually interested, about 15 minutes later, there were close to 10 sirens going in the direction I heard the shots. Good to know I'm vindicated in owning guns, seeming as the response time isn't too good. Checkmate, libtards (unfortunately there are a good deal in a college town)
