Just picked up Ruger GP100 in .357 and I'm pretty excited.
Lets get a wheel gun thread going.
Left to right: S&W 642, Colt Cobra, 1895 Nagant, GP 100

My late Sp101
>>31845544
Nice. Hows that Colt shoot?
>>31845629
It's fairly accurate and recoil isn't as bad as the 642.
>>31845656
My ugly old Ruger security six.It was a service gun in the 80s.Been trying to sale it.
Uberti El Patron single action .45 Long Colt.
Got it listed on Gunbroker for $450 if anyone's interested. Need some $$$ for a Browning shotgun.
>>31845428
>>31845544
there are a few more important guns
on my personal list ill get first, but..
..been cravin a gp100 ever since i picked up pic
>>31845428
Poorfag here, just saved up (barely) enough money to purchase my first gun. My absolute upper limit of budget is $200. I was planning to buy a shitty little Cobra 380, but I do love revolvers. Is there anywhere I can get one for that price?
It has to be larger than .22, and small enough to conceal.
>>31845782
Did you really need to print out the Constitution jst for the shot? Nice beast, however.
>>31845818
Go to a gun show.
There will be at least 3 tables with antique shit that you can get. I got a pre 1870 .22 single action suicide special for under 40 bucks. Have patients and find a good local expo, make sure you're not being a criminal faglord, and go have a good time. You're bound to leave with something that meets your criteria.

Says the reserve price isn't met. How do you tell the reserve price on that site? I've been lurking it, the interface is horrible.
Also, it says the center pin is broken. Is that an expensive or difficult fix? I have no experience gunsmithing, but I'm generally good at small work with basic tools.
>>31845847
I didn't print it, I bought it.
>>31845975
You dont.
You would probably have to order the part from Taurus.I wound not pay more then 140 for it.
>>31845975
Yeah, he's gonna go ahead and order his piece on the internet anyway like a fucking retard.
Have fun, buddy. Enjoy paying all dat money for a gun worth a third of that.
>>31845771
has me considering...
>>31845676
is that a 3 digit pocket hammerless I spot?
i like the GP100
>>31846386
I fucking know man. That's the gun I'm planning to buy when I actually have money
What's /k/'s opinion on Rock Island Armory M200? I know it's not great, but will it reliably go bang when it's supposed to and not break when I drop it?
>"revolvers are so antiquated, why not just get a pistol"
my answer
>>31845544
That's a really nice grip on the GP100. Where'd you get it? The stock ones are awful.
>>31846826
Those are stock grips, Ruger used those one GP-100's up to a certain date. Mine was made in 1989.
>>31846273
It's the cheapest one on the Internet right now (that I can find). I paid $520 for it just last year.
I've got it at a low price because I'm impatient and want it sold quickly.
>>31846726
I just like the idea of putting a huge fuck-off cartridge in a gun and going with it.
>>31846826
I like the stock grips.
>>31845700
Hey I want it, live near south Carolina?
OP here, anyone got an IWB holster they could recommend?
>>31847892
Anon is you want it ill sale it to ya for 350$
I live in Nc.
Email me at [email protected].
>>31845428
You are a real cunt for supporting Ruger.
Giving any money to the company, that is the legacy of a man who supported the AWB of 94 is weak shit.
>>31848991
Well hes dead now and his son is less of a piece of shit. When it comes to assault weapons. At least now you can get ruger brand 30 rounders mini mags.
>>31845991
What gun is that?
>>31845818
Check gun shows. I found an old 5 round rossi in 38spcl with a 3" barrel for $180. And by old i mean the ony way you could tell it wasn't a Smith was the markings and the grip medallion. Kinda miss that gun.
>BOOM
For a 118 year old gun it shot pretty dam good.
>>31845555
Nice quads
>>31849097
RG 38S
>>31849343
>
How did you get ammo.
Bicentennial edition. (too lazy to take a pic of mine, and this one is almost the exact same so...)
>>31848991
OP here
I dont personally care. I like the gun, it fits my hands perfectly, and I cant wait to shoot it.
>>31850894
That is a beautiful gun
>>31846305
Nah, just shooped out the last 3 numbers.
this will be my first revolver purchase, which one do i get? list is expensive to least expensive 700, 600, 500 $
>TAURUS MODEL 44 .44MAG 6 RD. 6.5 IN. PORTED REVOLVER
>RUGER SP101 .357 MAG 5 RD. STAINLESS STEEL REVOLVER
>SMITH & WESSON MODEL 637 .38 SPECIAL J-FRAME REVOLVER
>>31848991
The Ruger of today is very different than the Ruger of yesterday and there aren't exactly a lot of good revolver manufacturers today (S&W sux)
>>31851374
I'd get the Ruger gp100 match champion if I was getting a new revolver especially if it was my first revolver
There are a number of features it has that I really like such as the half underlug
Love my GP-100. She was made during the second year of manufacture (1987).
>>31851374
>TAURUS MODEL 44 .44MAG 6 RD. 6.5 IN. PORTED REVOLVER
Just no.
>RUGER SP101 .357 MAG 5 RD. STAINLESS STEEL REVOLVER
Not a bad choice, but like >>31851407 said, why not the match champion version. They're really cool.
>SMITH & WESSON MODEL 637 .38 SPECIAL J-FRAME REVOLVER
Not a terrible revolver, but unless you plan on carrying it I think it's a questionable choice especially if you're just doing range trips.
>>31851232
I love it, shoots great, and it even says on the side "made in the 200th year of american liberty". Best part was the price, it was only $400 at my LGS
>>31849156
I guess I'll try that. I'm a little afraid of sticking out and looking like an idiot. I've only been shooting a handful of times, only shot a handgun once. I guess I could bring my hasgunz friend with me
Poorfag from earlier. What do you think of the Rock Island M200? Reviews seem pretty solid.
Colt Army .38 Special with a 6 inch barrel. Made in 1924.
>>31850854
40 rounds came with it.
So I recently saw a Mk III Colt Official Police for sale that looked to be in great shape. Its bore and lockup were good, and it only really had finish wear near the front of the cylinder and muzzle. The seller wanted a little under $400 for it.
I assume that was a pretty decent price; was it? If any of you who've handled that particular model or one of the other Mk IIIs at all could offer some insights about whether they're quality guns, I'm all ears.
>>31851723
Do you plan on CCing it, or did you want it as a range gun?
>>31851374
If you're going to be throwing down $500 to $700 dollars, you should look into getting a used pre-lock S&W 586 or 686 with a 4 inch barrel. They're superior to every single one of the choices that you've listed in terms of quality, durability, and ease of accurate shooting.
>>31851427
nice
>>31845428
K-frame best frame.
>>31845428
Pretty. I own one of their 9Es but im thinking of picking up a wheel gun for my bug out/travel kit. Hows it treating you?
>>31845428
Picked this up over the weekend. Previous owner had it sitting on his night stand for 20 something years and never fired it. Poor lighting doesn't do it justice.
