Hey /k/, does this bayonet hold any historical significance? Is this even a good bayonet at all?

Looks at least very similar to a Swiss bayonet. Any markings on it, such as but not limited to "Waffenfabrik?"
>>31841798
Enscribe "Blut und Ehre!" on it and sell for max wehrabucks
Typical Mauser bayonet for an M91-style fore-end. It might have come from many different countries, but I'll bet money it's a Turkish M35; does it say "ASFA" on it anywhere?
>>31841798
K98 mauser?
>>31841823
Yes it does say ASFA on the end of the handle
>>31841815
Nope, just ASFA and the serial number
>>31841824
I've done a little bit of research and that might be what it was for. Idk.

>Yes it does say ASFA on the end of the handle
Yep, that's a Turkish M35-pattern bayonet.

This might be a retarded question, but is there any chance this would've seen combat during World War 2?
>>31841877
>is there any chance this would've seen combat during World War 2?
No. Turkey only declared war on Germany to get in on the postwar UN; they did not engage German ground forces.
>>31841877
Turkey was neutral in WW2
>>31841877
Maybe it was a medium bomber of the luftwaffe sold to Turkey after the war and they salvaged the metal when scrapping them. There are shitloads og MG3's produced in Turkey also.

This guy has the same-ish style of bayonet though... or does he have a completely different model?
>>31841936
Different guard.
its a carcano knife bayonet you dumb fukcs
>>31841936
No, that's a bayonet for an M98-style bayonet lug like Germany used. That is a Seitengewehr 84/98 Type III.

You're an idiot.
