Hey /k/,
This is a Ruger Vaquero. I have the opportunity to trade my gen 3 glock 23 for this. In my mind it's an upward trade, a glock 23 with 1 10 round mag (commiefornia) seems like it would only be worth 400-450
What do y'all think, should I cowboy up? Do you think it's an upward trade?
Thanks K,
K
23's a pretty nice gun desu. But if you really wanna get the vaquero do it, its also nice. Vaquero costs more so its technically an "upward" trade.

I find the glock to be really uncomfortable to shoot. Maybe it's my hands or maybe I'm just a little bitch, I'm not sure. That's why I was looking for a trade in the first place. I just didn't want to be losing money, you know? Otherwise I'd just sell it

What caliber Vaquero?

do it, you can buy a glock literally anytime or anyplace. every pro[er arsenal should have some range toys solely for fun
unless its you only gun at the moment, in which case id stay with the glock out of practicality
if its your only gun i wouldnt do it. its a downgrade
if its a spare or you have a real pistol for practical use no reason not to single action is fun

Yeah, the finger grooves don't work for everyone. I think it would be a good trade. Do it OP

Nah I have more than a dozen. It's my only "modern" pistol though. My other two are a s&w model 10 and a tokarev.
Thanks to everyone who posted, I'm feeling a lot more confident about this now.

I had the same issue with my glock 21.
It just never felt right in my hand.
Go with ruger! You can always pick up another block.
