Idk if /k/ has an opinion about this thing, but I figured it is filed under the category of " survival vehicle ", so maybe it fits.
Anyhow, what do you think of this? I think in a SHTF situation, it would be pretty good.
rather have one of these desu
What's the fuel economy like

Not sure? But it has an optional 7hp Honda motor. I have about the same motor on my log splitter, and that thing runs forever at full throttle on a tank of gas. So I am guessing it's pretty good.
Gimmick

Only good if you're experiencing shtf innawoods or somewhere rural.
For those urban areas, a street bike or maybe even a dirtbike with street tires would be much better.

So it's a rokon with some body panels?
I thought it would be handy in a situation where you needed to get through really muddy shit or very snowy areas. This thing could make locating supplies or checking areas out MUCH easier than just having to hike or walk with gear.

Where I am at is definitely innawoods. I think the fact that it floats, is easily taken apart to put in a larger vehicle and that it's 2wd are very strong points for it.

Not exactly. It's lighter and more simple. I do like the idea with the Rokon's wheels able to double as a fuel tank. Not sure is this one does that or not.

Like shit because 2wd

I have one similar to that, not sure if it's the same kind or not but it's great for riding through the woods. Goes right over big fallen branches without flipping or throwing you off the bike, it rolls through mud like a beast, and I've actually seen my 300lb dad take it up a 60 degree hill that was about 15 feet off the ground. It's like a compact survival ATV. I rigged some pouches into the side of mine so it's pre-loaded with survival gear and it sits in my garage so I can safely leave a Glock 20 in the bag without worrying about it getting messed around with.

I would personally prefer something closer to a moped I could run off ethanol alcohol. If i run out of fuel I could still pedal it, and grain alcohol isn't too hard to distill if you have the means. Otherwise, diesel.

ehhhhhhh

Just get a honda xr650l or xr650r
90mph+, 50mpg, reliable as fuck, and only $2000 or so used.
They're also a dual sport bike so if the need arises you can literally just go offroad at any time after having gone 80mph for 10 hours down a highway.

>not getting a cbr600r and dragging knee on the sweet touge
I'm sorry what were we talking about?
