Looking for gloves that are good in cold weather but aren't too bulky to fit in a trigger guard.

There's a pretty wide range for "cold weather", OP. Are we talking about winter in the southern US, where temps hover above freezing, or winter in the Canadian north where it's never above -20C?

There's not. That's why they had to start modifying gun designs
That and people generally try to avoid fighting in the snow
Kinco makes an insulated leather work glove. You will need a few days to break them in. It's not some sissy leather. I've got them and they are reasonable in the finger width.
I coated with "sno-seal" to waterproof and they make your hands sweat like a bitch in the summer, but for Winter-WORK, key-word, WORK use, they are perfect. Keep your blood circulating and these are the go-to glove in my opinion.
Also, I've hunted several -10 below seasons with those wool finger-glove mitt things. They are the best for stagnant times. You can remove the top part in a flash of a second to reveal your trigger finger. Pic related. These are my favorite hunting glove/mitts. Period.
Cant find pic of mine, but get the thick wool version, not this black fleece.

I rock Marmot Exum Guides and an Ak74. Your results may vary
I think Outdoor Research has a pretty extensive line of tactical gloves. I bought a pair of non-tactical ones from them and they're really good quality.
>hard knuckle gloves
>ever
I use these at work and they keep my fingers nice and toasty. They fit in my carry too so is good deal
