I mean, .45ACP cycling and impact is a little louder but as far as the report, they sound nearly the same without ear pro. In all honesty unless that .22 goes through something vital (heart, lung, hits spine and or shatters bone, jugular, etc.) and causes immediate serious damage, they are going to be so fucking pumped up with adrenaline that their happy ass is either going to run off or run at you.
