I'm working on a guide similar to the poorfag one, but I'm making this one to help people in CA and other nogunz states.
What are some of your recommendations besides the Mosin and the SKS for CA legal firearms priced under $500. Handguns, Rifles, and Shotguns are all welcome.
Here's what I have so far.
>>31778808
Ruger 10/22
Marlin Model 60
Makarov (I think?)
Maverick 88 (I think?)
>>31778808
I'm interested in quality, cheap handguns. I'm going to buy a 9mm sometime this week and I'm leaning towards a Glock due to their cost and ease of finding parts.
>>31778977
Adding the 10/22.
I didn't see the Makarov an the approved handguns roster.
This is a neat idea, anon.
>>31778808
Bersa should work for a cheap carry gun. Not amazing, but good for the money.
Enfields are often overlooked, too. Ammo's about on par with 7.62x54r, and you get a much more practical rifle for $100-$200 more. No.4's especially are really nice to shoot.
>>31779021
If you want a really cheap handgun that won't explode in your hand, look at the Hi-Point C-9. It's not the prettiest or the highest quality shooter out there but it'll get the job done.
I'm also adding it to the list.
>>31779085
Also do the Hi Point JHP cause with little modification it can take 1911 mags

Nigga I wish I could afford to leave this shithole but not all of us have the privilege.

Here's what I have now.
>>31778808
Quite honestly we need to remake the poorfag guide too, most of that shit is $100-$200 more expensive now.
Nominate the SD9 VE for a handgun.
Added the Maverick 88 for shotguns.
Is the Stevens Security good enough to get a place on my list?
>>31779241
A good historic handgun would be a makarov.
>made of traditional wood and metal
>small and concealable
>low stopping power so cuckafornia doesnt put you on a watchlist, but enough to stop an attacker.
>150-350$
>>31779344
Is it really legal in my state? I wasn't able to find any proofs on the DoJ site.
>>31779292
>Centerfire systems & gunbroker revolvers /poorfags/
>>31779356
If you can legally own a gen 1 glock 40 in cali im pretty sure you'd be able to own a makarov, but i can imagine them being challenging to find.
>>31779396
I'll add the Makarov then.
What are some cons to it besides being hard to find?
>>31779356
It also depends on the model of the Makarov i guess. One the most common Makarovs is the Bulgarian model im pretty sure that would be legal.
>>31779403
>cheap compared to other good historic handguns
>small, light, & concealable.
>people who purely only buy metal/wood guns love this
>shoots 9mm
>not a scary looking gun and can stop a attacker.
Here's some more of my progress. I need at least 2 more shotguns though.
>>31779564
S&W SD9 VE
>>31779564
One shotgun I recommend is the Remington model 1100.
>Holds 3 cartridges
>No pistol grip
>Legal & Semi-autmatic
>Great for dove/quail hunting
>400-1000$ pretty expensive though.
DO NOT COMPLY
>>31779564
Should probably clarify the Markov shoots 9x18 and not 9x19 just for people who are uninformed.
>>31779684
Sounds like an expensive Fudd gun to me.
My list isn't for durr rifles and huntin' shotguns.
>>31779700
Most gun dealers tell the buyers what ammo their gun shoots. Also I'll add a blurb at the end telling people to research carefully before they buy.
>>31779669
I'll add it.
>>31779805
Dogshit trigger for the SD9 is a big con
Here it is again.
sig sp2022
Pardner 12g pump
>>31779929
Need a list of pros and cons for the Pardner besides magazine capacity.
>>31779902
*comes with fiber optic sight, not somes.
>>31779997
Fixed.
>>31779975
This could be said for the Hawk too
Pro
>cheap
>steel receiver
>okay quality
>decent enough aftermarket
Con
>slightly different receiver shape than the 870 so certain optics are harder to mount
>riveted ejector is a bother if it breaks
>not all 870 aftermarket fits
>parts are a bother to find and again, not all 870 parts fit
>heavier than the Maverick
>trigger isn't great (it's like 200 bucks what do you expect)
>>31779975
No real cons. Its made in china if you call that a con. Other than that is as good as any other pump 12g and significantly cheaper.
>>31779975
Yesterday at the range, the only other guy there had one and the barrel flew off. Right where the barrel ring connects to the magazine tube it came apart. The two pieces looked glued together.
>>31779902
bersa firestorm is around 300 and legal so is an armscor m206 as of 1/1/2017, both are not high end obviously but made good cc for a poor fag.
>>31779902
maybe you should mention the Makarov comes in .380 and shoots 9x18mm not 9x19mm
>>31780224
oh bother
>>31780320
armscor isnt +p rated though
>>31780224
Added the Pardner. It seems good enough for the price.
Here it is now. I added a warning about handguns from the Ring of Fire companies (Jennings and co.).
>>31779133
why
why would you post a picture of a hi-power
>>31779344
The Makarov isn't wood and stopping power is a meme
>>31780962
Weatherby PA-8 synthetic and Synthetic compact ring in at 400 dollars msrp. They're on the upper end of the price range, but they're pretty solid shotguns and are available in 20 and 12 gauge.
Made in california too.
>>31778808
SU-16
>>31782146
wait sorry that is above $500 please disregard
>>31780962
Dont forget "k e l t e c" that name gives me the heebie jeebies.
How about the Rossi Trifecta or other matched pairs?
>>31780962
something something taurus
The yugoslavian m48 is a favorite of mine because it uses the great mauser action and they are generally in good condition. You can get them for around $350. 8mm mauser ammunition is getting harder to buy surplus, but you can still find it. I just recently bought 700 rounds of turkish 8mm for $0.35 a round.
>>31779106
Hell fucking no, we do not want these cucks coming over to pollute what is left of America.
They made their bed so they should lie in it.
>>31780962
armscor m206
TP9 is pretty affordable
>>31782556
Good luck finding one man
