It just befuddles me anon. It befuddles me. Ignoring the fact that only 1-2% of all gun crime is committed with a rifle. When they look at these scary looking military death machines they want to ban them. We never look at the reasons why a mass shooting was committed or the problems with the community or type of person that committed it. We just look at the big scary gun and ban it. Not getting rid of the underlying issues that caused a mass shooting. Or just gun crime in general like poverty, low job growth, gang culture and so on, but I guess as a politician that's actually hard to do so let's just ban the scary gun that's nothing more than a tool and make it look like we are making a difference.
