>turn to leave, but something catches my eye, hanging way up on the wall in the darkest corner camoflauged amongst the dust bunnies

>talk owner down to 90$ and find a complete bolt 2 months later.
And thats how anon pieced together his first rifle
>gun owner while still a minor
>no 4473
pretty good, actually
>>31742899
A bubba Arisaka with no bolt is not worth $90. Maybe, just maybe, it would be worth it if the bore was immaculate, the bluing was pristine, and the mum was intact.
>>31743236
Dont care. Its a good rifle, and I like it.
Bought that thing 6 years ago and I see arisakas for 270+ in the local shops. 90$ is chump change, especially in the gun world. Sadly the chrisanthemum is damaged. Fuckin gooks.
>>31743371
$270 is last ditch pricing. If you're after an early-mid war Type 99, you'll be paying anywhere for $450-$800 easily. Especially if you want a dust cover, aircraft sights, and monopod.
Shame Japanese rifles and ammo are so expensive. I'd love a complete Type 99, both for the history and the fact that it's an amazingly competent rifle.

Owner probably thought it was a "non gun" because of no bolt.
Which is stupid, but it wouldn't surprise me. Or could have been a personal gun which requires no 4473 IIRC.
>>31743236
bluing on his rifle is pretty good, and the bores are hard chromed in most cases
go back to the 80's from which you came
>>31743417
I loved my Arisaka but I had to sell it because I couldn't find ammo for it anywhere. Gun was in great shape and I sold it to a collector for good money.
I miss that gun. Sadly any foreign milsurp that doesn't shoot russian rounds is getting nearly impossible to feed.
>>31742899
>this works out for me, only 15 year old faggot
b&
>>31743473
The 80's are great, I'm still able to buy parts matching Arisakas in pretty good shape for less than $250.

>greentext has never been used to communicate temporal displacement

If you shoot milsurp in an uncommon caliber you're crazy for not reloading
>hunting around for a Tanfoglio Witness in 10mm online

>shut up and take my money, pastaniggers
Today was a good day.

Fuck off its mine you asshole, just as soon as I get my paycheck. Been eying it for ages.

Nice.
>>31744494
Nice woo
>>31744494
Always wanted one of those, but to me
They look sort of plastic-y. Almost kind of like
The hi-point rifles and the first gen oracles.
Either way, bullpups kick ass and look rad.
Noce score friend. I missed out on a pawnshop
Bullpup 2 years ago. Still makes me sad.
