I think it;s clear that if a ton of dead kids and fags didn't do anything, probably nothing will.

At least on the federal level
>>
>>31737276
We used to have the supreme court.

We are about to see the most "progressive," identity politicking, anti-gun court in history.
>>
Why do people think Hillary gets the final say on the next justice.

Congress has to approve of said justice beford they take a seat.
>>
>>31737328
No matter who she gets in, they will not be someone of which we'd approve.
>>
>>31737276

Still absolutely sucks from a business perspective. How does it work if I'm an out-of-state firearms or ammo dealer and I run afoul of some states law?

What happens to Daniel Defense if they ship a rifle to a California FFL? Do they lose the rifle without reimbursement? Do they get charged with a criminal offense?

What about ammo dealers?
>>
>>31737276
As long as no autistimos or akbars make us look bad, then all is good right?
>>
>>31737328
>implying she won't blackmail those senators she cannot bludgeon or make "deals" with
>implying that over the course of 8 years the senate will NEVER gain a democrat majority

>>31737347
Vote trump. While we know exactly what we are getting with hilldog at least we have a chance with trump.
>>
>>31737347
The sate of california will take them to court. The state can seize assets within the state.

If you had the deepest pockets. You could then challenge in a federal court that California was in violation of interstate commerce clause. But it would be tried in the 9th circuit in California. So...
>>
>>31737341
I only saw one candidate mention "internet loophole". Maybe someone can explain wtf that means.
>>
>>31737276

Obama is a ball-less scrotum. He has no resolve.

Hillary is a sociopathic cunt that has shown she will literally kill people who endanger her image.
>>
>>31737402

Great, so every gun or ammo business must keep completely up-to-date on 50 different state's legislatures at all times. And God help you if large numbers of cities begin enacting bans.
>>
>>31737429

You can buy guns online and they'll ship to a licensed FFL where you must fill out a 4473 for a background check.

This is a loophole because it's a way you can buy a firearm.
>>
>>31737450
Not wanting to doubt you on the sociopathic cunt part, but can you give me good credible sources that she killed people?

>ragheads

Don't count as people.
>>
>>31737457
Thats how it has been for awhile. Im sure these companies have lawyers on their payroll making sure they stay well within the boundaries of the law.
>>
>>31737464
How is that a loophole? You still need a background check.
>>
>>31737481
Its not a loophole. Its a dumb liberal buzzword used to scare the masses into voting D.
>>
>>31737450
She was also the secretary of state and it still didn't get done.
>>
>>31737481
The "loophole" is that you can still buy a firearm

They'll call anything a loophole until they're appeased, which is when guns are banned
>>
>>31737498
Oh gotcha, I thought you were agreeing with the libshills, carry on
>>
>>31737481
Exactly.

See, you now have this thing called a "fact". Be careful using it, because some people seem to gave a bit of an allergy to them.
>>
>>31737429
The loophole are private sales on websites like armslist

They host private sales which depending on your state can be completely legal, and FFL holder listings.

The "loophole" is the fact that private sales which in some states are entirely legal and don't require a form 4473 but they push so hard for "universal background checks" and that defeats the purpose of private sales.

Let's say you have a pocket knife I want to buy. Let's say I have cash, and you want to sell it. So I exchange money for goods, private enterprise, private sale. What "universal background checks" aim to do is make it so that we would have to go to a licensed knife dealer so that I can be told I'm not a felon before I can possess the knife.
>>
>>31737481
She might have been talking about sites like armslist where you can meet people to buy guns.

Even that isn't a loophole. You still cant get it shipped directly to your door. It must be face to face.
>>
>>31737391
For sure.

#MAGA
>>
I often think, "who benefits."
Who benefits from the belief that they are actually going to try to take or ban guns out of your hands? Certainly not the dems. They never say that. They say words like "comprehensive background checks" and "loophole". It's ok if you disagree that we need to change those things... I might agree with you. But the dems don't say more, at least Hillary doesnt. So who benefits in saying that they want more? The very people that say it the most. The NRA and gun salesmen. So the people that stand to gain the most are the ones saying it in the first place. I've worked in gun stores and own over 50 guns. I just don't buy the scare tactics and hyperbole from the NRA. They want us to believe. I worked in a gun store when Obama was elected. It's the same shit every time, get gun owners riled up to support the NRA and buy more guns. Just think. Who benefits?
Just my .02 friends

>>
>>31737670
This reminds me of an old saying "just because you can't prove they are out to get you doesn't mean they aren't". Except in this case we CAN prove that people like shillary will try to take our guns. So fuck off with your implications that the NRA is generating controversy just for some money. They ain't saints, but at least they've actually been standing up for our rights in congress.
>>
>>31737670
.02 cent has been deposited into your account, compliments of The Clinton Family Foundation.
>>
>>31737725

By all means, we'll keep funding them. But let's not pretend the NRA ILA is in it for little guys like you and me.

The day the Demos give up the push for gun control is the day that donation spigot runs dry for the NRA ILA as well.
>>
>>31737543
Honestly if you just allowed people to run a check with a license or something, why not? There's nothing wrong with that. You probably wouldn't even need to pass a law. Maybe not, but couldn't the President just instruct anyone to be able to call that shit in?
>>
>>31737713
About four years ago we predicted that if/when SHTF crude imageboards will exist via broadcasts on slow scan television

>>31737774
No and no. That defeats the point of a private sale or transfer and the president nor the ATF/FBI has the power or capacity to do those

>>
>>31737799
Maybe I'm not saying it correctly. Let's say I'm making a private sale but the guy looks sketch, so I dial a number and give them his license number. They come back after a few minutes and say he's good. What's wrong with that?

As far as presidential powers, it's not clear to me where executive power over cabinet agencies ends and the legislative powers begin. I assume we could just let everyone (voluntarily) access the same system that FFL's use.
>>
>>31737857
> so I dial a number and give them his license number
That's exactly what a 4473 is, dumbed down but that's the basic process of it

Nothing, except that it's defeats the point of a private sale and I can go to an FFL if I'm really that sketched out.

He's done. Hillary won and she didn't even have to do anything except let him implode.

Trump didn't focus on recent bombshells like the o'keef videos which was a disappointment. And Hillary as far as guns go just said the same shit all other liberals say about "reasonable regulations" and lying about respecting the second ammendment like she did in the second debate. In general, Trump slipped up on playing aggressively from not being that good at navigating his sentences this debate, as well as not bringing much in the way of new things to the table to call her out on. That's what stuck out to me at least. Still not gonna stop me from voting for him honestly, even if I have my doubts as to whether or not he actually won this debate.

If Dems control the White House and Senate, which is by far the most likely outcome as of this moment, then they will have the ability to confirm to the Supreme Court anyone of Clinton's choosing when the new term starts in January. If that is the case, the ONLY thing Senate Republicans can do to prevent a more liberal justice from being confirmed is to confirm Garland during the lame duck session.

You literally didn't back up your claims with a single numerical fact. IT's a fact that conservative-leaning, centrist, and liberal-leaning polls almost all universally show Clinton ahead.

Nah, it was kind of spur of the moment. Most of my recipes are barely measured, but come out well.
Get some cheap steaks that look OK at the market. A bunch of mushrooms, pearl onions, carrots, a dry-ish pinot, and anything else that strikes your fancy.
Trim the pearl onions, give the m a minute boil, and remove skins. Peel carrots, slice mushrooms.
Sear the steaks in a oiled cast iron skillet. Get a good brown on one side and flip. Monitor the temperature with a food thermometer. Don't want them getting overcooked- I try to make sure the max temperature in the thickest part of the steak does not exceed 130F. Temperature will rise slightly after pulling them off, anyways. Put steaks on a plate and tent with foil.
without letting the pan cool, throw in vegetable. After a minute or 2- when the onions look close to done- add a few cloves of chopped garlic and a few tspn of thyme leaves. When the spices are aromatic and the garlic is golden- 30-50 sec- add in some stock and wine. Probably a half cup of each, it doesn't really matter. Stir up anything on the bottom of the pan into the sauce, add a packet of unflavored gelatin, a bay leaf, bring to a simmer. After it's simmered 15 minutes, season with salt, a ton of pepper, MSG (marketed as 'Accent' seasoning in the market), and a bit of soy sauce for a subtle undertone. Return steak and juices to the pan to warm. Garnish with parsley. Enjoy with crusty bread.
Explain to female companion bullshit about "interplay of flavors" and "umami" to act like some great chef while drinking wine.

If you're old enough to remember '94, then you're old enough to remember how rare it was to see an AR at the rifle range. Last time I looked down the line, it was 7/10 ARs, 2 bolt actions, and 1 lever. All the major manufacturers produce the Stoner action now.

You also probably remember how that directly led to the Republican's trouncing Democrats in the House and Senate races back in '94.

"The political price for passing the ban included the loss of Congress to the Republicans in 1994, endangering Clinton’s agenda, and creating the partisan conditions on Capitol Hill that produced his own impeachment. Even Clinton himself, looking back on the assault weapon ban in his memoir, My Life, concluded that he had likely “pushed the Congress, the country, and the administration too hard.”

Not only is she congenial to any second pass, revamped AWB, her mouthpieces have said on her behalf that she would go after handgun ownership. Basically, Chicago and NYC are the standard for what they want across the country - for now - with eyes toward possibly getting a precedent to allow class action suits against arms and ammunition manufacturers for just about anything. Basically, they want to bankrupt any company that sells on the domestic civilian market; the only ones left standing would be a few foreign companies like Beretta and HK, and obviously companies which are predominantly or wholly subsisting on military contracts.

As other anons have noted, we might lose the senate to anti's. Which is stupidly important because the senate confirms or rejects supreme court justices. Then killary just needs to apply pressure (blackmail, "back room" deals, the usual) to get shit passed and now you don't have guns. And if she manages to get a AWB with no sunset clause passed (meaning you have to renew it or it goes away automatically), then we'd need to get the support in congress to tell her to fuck off and remove it. At which point her personally selected justices could tell us to fuck off since progressive fucks don't mind legislating from the bench.

No, but if several justices were to retire over the next few years, suddenly you have an SC stack of 5+ liberal judges who will be on the bench for years. >>31743206
>Highly questionable shit that shouldn't stand up in court gets proposed regularly, why should I believe it would be any different for gun laws.

That's not the point. There's always going to be sketchy and questionably unconstitutional laws that are passed. The problem arises from the fact that the Supreme Court is one of the only options we have to fight the most egregious ones, and if Hillary has her picks then we're fucked in that regard. If there had been a liberal majority for Heller or McDonald and it had gone the other way, you would likely have seen the very antigun states like CA, CT, or NY attempting to pass even worse shit than has already been proposed, and it would've been completely in the bounds of the law to do so. In such a case there's no recourse other than the courts because the states are heavily democratically controlled, something that won't change without extremely unlikely demographic shifts.
>>
>>31737250
Guys, I've been a Trump supporter from the beginning, but it's time to admit it... The polls have proven it's impossible for him to win. Just give up. Luckily, the Supreme Court has no chance of affecting our gun rights during the next several decades, and we'd probably be better off with liberal judges in a few cases anyway. Pretty hard to do that when an honest-to-God dictator and her cronies are taking the country over and preventing any sort of education or communication that doesn't fit their agenda. Bizarro Margaret Thatcher and her schemes will make any sort of opposition short of straight-up disobedience impossible. At the very least, her nation-wide SJW brigades will drown out any attempt at rational discourse.

I own a restaurant and set up staff range days all the time. Even the most liberal noguns will come out and try it.

Guess what? Some of those noguns turned into hasguns, or atleast stopped being anti.

I don't care if they continue to vote democrat, what I want is for them to stop making gun control a prominent issue for the democrats. It's doable if you can educate and show people the benifits of gun ownership instead of demeaning them as pussy libtards.
>>
Don't forget what got Trump the Republican nomination either. Americans have been asking for a wall for 40 years and no one has been able to deliver. If we end up passing amnesty like Jeb! or Rubio would have done, or as Hillary has said she wants to do behind closed doors, that will be 10-20 million more voters. They vote liberal Democrat in high percentages (the second generation even more so) and also disproportionately support gun control.

>>
>>31743931

Unless you have a literal army of people manning every foot of the wall it's completely useless. Add on increased coat guard patrols off the coast of SoCal and in the Gulf and the costs of building a wall skyrocket.
>>
>>31743914
>Don't try to compare Israel's border without comparing Israel's economy.
Yet you try to compare them without comparing the security situation between here and Israel, in particular how if they didn't have that wall it would make staging attacks against them easy and how people would be driving vehicles filled with explosives over the border instead of building shitty rockets which is a problem the US doesn't have.
>>
The wall is impossible. No one has ever built a wall before because they are expensive. Changing the voting demographic is a far-right paranoid racist talking point. Immigrants are natural conservatives.
>>
>>31743949
No, you made a claim that people who want to enter the US illegally would stop because they see a wall when the current dangers don't stop them and climbing a wall is just a minor obstacle. Either back up that ridiculous claim with actual evidence or fuck off.

You should be demoralized, because it's a hard truth. She's going to win the election, and her stiletto-heeled SJW army will ensure that honest Americans can do nothing about it short of revolt. In which case she'll be the commander-in-chief, so she can call in the National Guard the go "dindu nuffin" about herself and her immigrant agents provocatuers.
More on-topic, an assault weapons ban will actually work in her favor. Honest Americans won't be able to get good weapons from reputable dealers, but the border-hopping cartels and God-knows-who-else can just use their stolen guns. And guess who supports Hitlarry more? Hint: it isn't Americans who buy from reputable gun-owners.

Ending the drug war would do more to end cartel activity than a border wall would. I'd rather pay more for high quality legal Cali weed than the shitty mexican ditch weed that everybody has here.
>>
>>31744055
I don't think we can sell cocaine and heroine at the corner store anon. It sucks.

Cocaine and heroin are more expensive but the cartels would suffer far more from loss of demand for weed considering the sheer amount they move currently.

You need less people manning a wall, you just need Central hubs and cameras watching distances. Other countries that have built border walls have seen a reduction in illegal immigration by over 95%.

There's a massive difference between gangs bringing drugs across the border and a group that has declared war on your country reenacting Fury Road with car bombs.

Help, my keks.
>>
>>31743985

I'm not that person you where arguing with, but the Whole point of Amnesty and allow illegal immigrants into our country is for a future voting pool for the left.

When a Wall goes up the amount of people trying to cross goes way the fuck down, Israel reduce illegal immigration along the egyptian border by 99% when the main section of the wall was complete.

The whole point of the fucking wall is to reduce the amount of people crossing into this country illegally.

The Left wants these people because they know that their Anchor babies (which they will have several) will grow up and will Vote for left policies.
>>
>>31744120
>it doesn't scale linearly
True, it scales logarithmically--the larger the wall you are making, the less expensive it proportionally is to build, man, and maintain it.
>>
>>31744120

Israel fence is 1/8th the size and cost 1.6 billion

Hungarian Wall is ~1/6th the size and cost 106 million

If you compare the different walls yourself, you will see that they are very linear in cost and operation.
