Arterial blood is very bright, almost cherry colour. While blood from veins is very dark. I could go into more depth but I'm about to start a lecture.

After hitting oxygen most blood looks the same. It's Oxygen that makes it red. Then it dries out to varied shades of red brown. I work in a lab. I do ABGs, draw venous blood and process blood and other specimens. I have worked with forensic staff.

I can't into forensics. I just can't. I know medical shit, and i am aware of how shit works physics-wise, so everything I say is really based off of logic and what I have seen. I'll see if I can find something for you more substantial, but I know a thing or two so I can answer your question.

Blood:
An arterial wound should spurt blood for a short time. Therefore, as there is significant pressure in the body, there should be a stream of blood that moves beyond a pool of blood. It should be rather red in color as it is oxygenated. A venous wound's blood would be dark in color, but as it leaves the body it should be reoxygenated by the air so color should stay the same. But a venous flow should have a pool of blood without indicators of spurts. If the body falls there should be a trail of droplets flying forth as the body hits the ground, it should look different than blood from a spurting wound. Consider a laceration to the neck as the baseline for this. These indicators should be present in a situation such as a shrapnel hit or gunshot assuming the body is in a position to deposit blood onto the ground. If onto clothing there shouldn't be anything notable to make such a precise distinction.

Stains:
Blood will turn from a crimson red to a redish brown when left to dry. If you really want to go deep into this, prick your finger, get a droplet of blood and place it onto a white t-shirt. Do this every one or two hours and compare how it looks fresh and a few hours old. Could be an interesting night if you really want to see it.

Splatter
Blood splatter is dependent on the means that the victim is hit. If it is shrapnel then it should be rather slow moving and be jagged and varying in size. This would be evident by a rather sporadic looking blood splatter with larger splatters and smaller splatters. A gun shot should be rather consistent in the way it appears. Each shot should interact with the body in a similar way with most center mass hits and upper arm/leg hits. Each splatter should be similar in shape and mostly in size. For a knife slash the blood would splatter in a similar arc to the knife in a slash. For a stab it would deposit droplets onto the ground that the knife has carried with it, maybe onto a very close wall or other surface if it is drawn swiftly. These droplets would most likely be disturbed by the body falling to the ground, but would most likely be in a different location from the main pool. Depending on how long the body remains upright, an arterial spray would have a fairly long arc onto nearby surfaces and onto the ground.

But fuck it, what do I know. This is really speculative based on an fairly comprehensive understanding of physics and the body.

This casts doubt on the news story that was on Facebook a few years back.

So.... What happened?

An inmate got shot with 00 rubber buckshot and shit his pants.

If you google that name in my 1st post about this you'll see that its implied the stains on his shorts are from rectal bleeding after repeated mass rape after days, and his back wounds are from stabs.

I was able to catch this troll content by realizing knives don't create wounds like this.

Most prison weapons aren't going to be to the highest tolerance and if there was an organized attack on him then there would be a lot of shoving to get to him, neutralizing a lot of really deep and effective its. Prison attacks like that are usually not to kill, but rather to dominate and really show what you can do. Plus it is just cause to show your shit and make sure you don't get on the bitch tier.
