I know this is really a nitpick, especially since this 9/10 times happens in movies where gun action is nowhere near the focus of action scenes, but I really hate when a hero is supposed to be smart and clever and quick-witted to get out of most situations but when faced against anything like coming up against a gun his plan is usually to just run away in plain sight even against heavy suppression fire and just hope that the bad guy's idea of recoil control is to hold the gun down with his erect dick.

Sandman - nice ideas, but meh execution.
Lucifer - starts out good, then does nothing with it.
Preacher - too semi-boring.
Transmetropolitan - very nice basic ideas, then again does very little with them.

All comic books seem to either turn into superhero stories or at least take them up on their sparkly clean heroes and designated villains.

Ash vs The Evil Dead was great up until the militia episode. Then they started going on and on about how militias are useless gun toting rednecks who can't shoot for shit. Said militias are armed with LAW rockets, AT-4's, and full auto M16's/SCARs etc, which of course is retarded. The girl takes one of the M16's, calls it dangerous, uses it to kill a demon, then keeps it despite seeing how useful it is. I expected some anti-gun bullshit considering the main protagonists are a Jew and a Mexican, but god damn they took it too far.
