The pattern isn't really indicative of anything I can think of happening in terms of technique, it just looks bad, inconsistent everything. Best guess maybe the barrel lockup is crazy insosistent\ it's unlocking prematurely if it's not just bad shooting. Is there any play in the barrel when the slide is forward? Brass showing any signs of premature unlocking (ballooned bases, splits)?

I'd guess at that being your issue, but hard to say for sure without handling it. I'd say do the usual try a couple different types of ammo then bitch at Zastava\ the importer (don't know their warranty process, sorry) if it still sucks.

well ive only tried pmc bronze as when i bought the gun it came with 500 rounds of it so any suggestions for ammo i should try?

I really don't think it's the ammo, PMC is fine, most of my .40 range stash is PMC, but due diligence, try some type of 165gr stuff, just grab a couple boxes of whatever at Wal-Mart. I don't think it's ammo, but best to rule it out.
