No registry evern but have a free instant digital background check freely accessible to all FFLs and C&R card holders that instantly deletes the 4473 details after a positive completion (no felonies or warrants found). Make that the mandatory "universal" background check. Private sales at gun shows will have the check run by an FFL or C&R holder at the show, and private transfers between any two individuals will be subject to the background check at gun stores (even like big 5 or cabelas).

The miniscule amount of guns used in crime obtained that way will now be closer to zero, and we remove the backdoor registries we have in place currently.
