Nice FAMAS OP!

Hold on to whatever you have got.
A.) because it's from your father
B.) because whatever he left for you he wanted you to have and it's worth monies.

I dont plan of getting rid of it, i agree
Op here, it also came with the original wood stock and some russian rounds as well
>>31648260
change it back to the wood stock, this looks like shit.

As others have said it's an SKS, but specifically one with an aftermarket polymer stock (by the looks of it), and whatever is needed to make it accept detachable mags. (I don't know if the stock alone lets you do it, I've never done it myself. Kept my SKS stock and bought a wasr for my detachable needs.)
Heres the box
Heres 1 of 20 boxes of this stuff
And finally the wood stock

I might
These all say steel core armor pen, are these even legal?

Completely legal
piggybacking on this thread, I also inherited some guns earlier this year and know nothing about any of them
what would be a good way to learn about the different ones I have?

If you have no idea about firearms at all, I'd take them to a respected gunshop and have them take a look at them. They should be able to tell you what they are. Just beware they will also likely try and buy them off you on the cheap. Act like you might sell them, but just to get the information.
After that, hit the internet and look them up yourself. For a good idea on what they go for, look on gunbroker.com
Honestly, you shouldn't sell them, but pass them on.

That pic made my pants so much tighter.
>>31648605
Post them here
>>31648605
Look along the barrel/reciever near the scope to find any stamps
Google the stamps

1. have /k/ tell you what the guns are
2. look them up on the internet
Protip: Post whatever markings you find on the receiver or barrel. They will help with identification if they don't outright tell you what the gun is.
