NE Ohio isn't bad if you stay away from the cities. Close to the lake. Good hunting and fishing. Game laws and gun laws are /k/ tier. Wildlife officer are mostly cool. Don't push them. You can take five or six deer in all seasons depending on county. Fall and spring are worth the price of summer and winter here. Winter snow depends on the lake effect. I can have two inches of snow and ten miles north they might have two feet.

Only the eastern part of the state has woods. The west is all farms. Southeast is the shittiest part of the state though. It's basically WV without the mountains.
