Just ordered one of these, what are your thoughts and experiences with the Thompson 1927A1?
I got the T1 model that comes with the stick mag, I wanted to avoid those drum magazine feeding issues.

Very desu senpai

where did ya get it from?

They'll really make you appreciate the advances in firearm design.
They're neat, but extremely heavy, not ergonomic, and good on you for skipping drums. Drums are a pain in the ass.

They are a fun shoot though

Buds Gun Shop. Ordered it online for a total of about $1,100.

Do I detect newfag?
>>31630276
No doubt, there isn't a gun out there that isn't though.
>>31630350
Yes you do.
>>31630216

>>31630421

heavy as hell, aside from that purdy cool don't own one myself but pal of mine has one.
Speaking of Thompsons, just recently I saw a Texas Ranger tribute version at my local gun store on the pre-owned rack. they apparently only made 300, and used real 24k gold n sheit
>>31630216
there is literally no reason to get a Thompson unless you sbr it and use drum magazines
>>31630216
Pure sex appeal. Good job anon.

my thoughts on new thompsons...
as long as the reciever is steel it is a fun and solid piece, not an shtf piece but solid. aluminum reciever guns though like my pistol will recoil the sights off after about 200rds. the only other failing inherent to the gun is that it will occasionally fire bursts for like no reason whatsoever. the drums suck but stick mags work perfectly...also stake the extractor, for whatever reason the damn things like to pull the extractor out of the bolt unless staked.

Thanks for the tips, I appreciate it.
>>31631798
Also, I got the T1 model, I believe that's steel.
>>31631798
I have the Thomson in OPs pic. A1 I believe. Bolt is heavy as shit and will cut you like a meat slicer.

You haven't shot a lot of different guns I'm guessing. Once you've reached the 80+ different guns shot you'll have a different answer to this. Personally I've shot around 120 different kinds of guns. I'll tell you right now I don't like the Marlin 60 and ar15's get boring once you handle one enough.
