Gonna need a bigger picture of the surrounding area to plan anything. Start by securing their rear by fire and firing a thousands rounds of HE from tanks into every single building possible until there's nothing but rubble.

In vidya I never take my enemy's shit. Instead I find it much funner to piss them off by regularly sending my units to attack and destroy a bunch of their shit and then back out before I have the chance to take their base and beat them. Why do militaries field fuckhuge recon vehicles (M113. M2, pic related)? Are they able to move ahead of the main force undetected or are they for force recon?

Force recon, fire support and transportation of recon infantry.
Either the vehicles transports the recon team close to the enemy where they dismount and sneak forward to scout. The vehicle stays back to provide fire support if necessary.

The vehicle advances into contact, breaks off and dismounts the recon team that then proceed to sneak about and scout.

Light riflemen are shit, their AT is worthless. Remove them.
Take some Riflemen '90 in Humwees to have cheap, solid infantry. Take SMAW instead of assault engineers. Get Marines '90 as shock infantry.
Ditch the M110A2 for mortars, the PIVADS for Chapparal, Hawk instead of Patriot.
Ditch the Kiowa for a cheap vehicle recon.
Ditch the M163 CS.

You need some cheap HE or nape bombers. Recommend Corsair for cheap nape plane, Freedom Fighter for cheap bomber. Drop the F-16 for the Tomcat. Swap the Raven for the Electric Voodoo to save 50 points per card and for a negligible loss in performance.

Grab another card of Tomcats, drop a card of Pegs to get it. Not a lot of people actually use naval stuff so you can put cheese shit like Monitor 105s in there to do off-shore bombardment.
