They should redesign it to be slimmer and less puffy plastic looking like a famas. Even if it's a great gun, if it's not pleasing to the eye peole will overlook it, sometimes even generals. Also, I think more people would prefer if it had a selector switch for full auto.

The only version they should have taken to compete for contracts was the railed upper/railed lower version. One with a 3lb trigger to show off accuracy and one with a 9 pound trigger to suggest to grunts.

It'd very reliable but it's an absolute nightmare to do remedial action should anything go wrong. It's actually very comfortable despite its bulbous looks.

Picked up one years ago for $2300. It's pretty sex, if it bolt hold open and was just a smidgen thinner I'd say it was perfect.

I should clarify that Im guilty of not owning an F2000 and my opinions were just on what I've seen and read about the gun. I've heard great things about its reliability here and from other sources.

In the semi position, the trigger will only move back shorty. The auto position, it can move back fully. So yes, that's correct. It's very easy to manage and I actually prefer it to traditional auto selectors as it's both more simple mechanically and easy to manage if you don't want to go full retard.
