.41 AE is rebated - uses the 9mm bolt face and extractor, but a larger barrel and slightly different follower in the magazine.

i have a 1993 jericho 941 with a few hundred .41AE that i reload.

ballistically it's like a +p .40S&W, other than being easy to reload for (it doesn't beat up brass much) there's not much to say about it.

it's nice that it uses pretty much all 9mm components other than barrel and follower though.
