The chink AK rigs work pretty well. SADF p83 ones do too. Pretty much any AK rig will work, 762tactical has a bunch of slightly more budget friendly rigs than a lot of other companies.

As for the carrier+rig, just put the rig on over the PC. How is that hard to figure out? Your load out depends completely on what you want to do tho.

SADF rig all the way. It's sturdy, fits well, is decently adjustable, and can fit AR, AK47, AK74, VZ, and Battle Rifle magazines.

That said, ChiCom rigs can do the same and are still relatively easy to find and cheap compared to SADF shit.

I just thought that somehow the rig and plate carrier would get in the way of each other. I've seen some pics that look like the two are combined.

Is a drop pouch worth it? Nutnfancy has one and it looks pretty quick for mag changes but its bouncing around on your leg

Will definitely look into sadf and chicom rigs. That's two guys suggesting it now.

What other gear is good to strap to your body outside a bag? First aid, flashlight? I'd suggest a radio but I'd be alone since all my friends are anti fun and I'd have no one to communicate with

just get a molle plate carrier and get mag pouches for molle.

That's the most important shit you're going to need. Just get a baofeng UV5R, they're like $25 shipped and not hard to learn how to use. You should lurk in the gearqueer general threads. Dump pouches are awesome tho, not for tactical reasons but simply because having a fold up pouch you can just drop your shit into is convenient.

You can set it up to. Either way, it's a means of finding information and potentially giving it to others. Say you come across an emergency evacuation route and a big ass tree fell on the road, radio it in and help your neighbors out.
