This is it lads.

The NFA review is almost upon us. What are you doing to help stop them from taking more guns?

Things they are looking to ban:
>Lever action shotguns
>magazines over 5 rounds
>Cat H for farmers
>Semi auto pistols

Ignoring that all of this is due to a muslim """refugee""" shooting up a sydney cafe, what are we going to do to stop it?

ITT letter writing, organizing, information sharing, etc

FOU template:

Hey I'm in the US and I kind of like those lever action shotguns you guys have. If you get tired of being a subject and decide to come over here, please bring a few of them with you. Legally of course.

Why do I keep getting the impression that civil disobedience has no serious history in the rest of the Anglosphere? that breaking the law for you, even asinine and oppressive laws, still has the taint of criminality? even when you know it's being used to put you into a corner you'll never get out of?

Just got a letter back from my local MP from the polite fuck-the-NFA letters I sent them both before the election.
His reply was pretty positive and supportive, the form letter he got from Keenan was also nothing-bad-will-happen but it sounded like that was only because a lot of us had written letters, voted pro-gun etc etc so keep the pressure on them and they might crack.
>they fucked us over in 96 because they thought there were more antigunners to get votes from, the licencing figures and memberships of SFF LDP FOU SUA are beginning to show them there are more of us and we actually put money on our sport, compared to the few actual antigunners making empty noise in the meedia
So get writing, m80s.
Every paper letter is worth a hundred online pollwank petition clicks.

I don't think it's about that.

What the most disturbing part is, is that either through state education or just poor parenting a massive amount of the next generation, and the last few generations genuinely believe that we should surrender all our individual rights, freedoms and basically ourselves for comfort. They pretty much advocate against success, defense and power. They hate it vehemently. They're proffesional victims.

Its a mix.
Lee Rhiannon like a lot of the Greens are actual excommunists who want to keep on destabilising the imperialist westerners.
Part of the 'we dont want gunz like Amerika' is standard hippie antiAmericanism, plus the femzbian antimale 'gunz iz penisez' mindfuck.
Underneath it all are the globalist idealists who seem to just be pawns for cunts like Soros to destabilise economies for profit, who need centralised authority for their scams to work.
>but our Strayan pollies arent really obeying any of these idealogical reasons.
Howard was just a shortarse cunt who had obviously had a life of being put down by real blokes and hated the manliness of guns.
The current crop are just suckers for any media spin and overreact to everything.
>but now OneNation LDP Katter etc are gaining a bigger power spin than the media lefties and balance of power, there's actually a chance they'll cut us some slack on NFA to try to get us back on side rather than give Pauline more voters

>>
>>31564700
Literally hundreds of thousands of semi auto rifles and pump action shotguns were not handed in.

In a country where that was a very large proportion of those total firearm I would call that some pretty serious civil disobedience.

To be honest though mate when you get out of the cities its a different country, you think a bloke that owns a 200000 acre property in Western Queensland gives a flying fuck if the government says he cant run a D9 through some scrub, shoot a heap of roos or own such and such gun.
>>
>>31565683
Honestly, if it were the US or Europe I'd say Malicious agenda.

But Australia takes this approach to fucking everything. Road/Vehicle rules are an example. Get rid of all race tracks, fine people for driving more then 1kph over the limit, cameras on every intersection and all down the highway, massive police presence at any car meetup, and a nightly a current affair segment on how evil hoons are.
If you dont like generic ball sports then there isnt much to do in this country.
I guess its just part of the prison colony mentality thats just always been there and people just accept this bullshit.
>>
>>31565732
I realize they've fucked us gun wise, I've known that for a whille. Look at Victoria and Canberra though, Labour would be no fucking different.

Depends on forewarning, anything over 15 is going to see full scale lockdown and retreat from everyone other then the military if their is no warning.

Say 50 or so with warning.

That said this is to be unarrestable on the day, I would fully expect your door to be kicked in later that night and be tragically shot whilst resisting arrest.
>>
>>31565756
Nationals are probably what made the whole thing actually somewhat caring for Australia. If they're still existant in the party, I'd bet they're the reason why people like cory bernadi and abbot can step up. Hopefully this doesn't change immediately.

OP I have a pretty good r/ship with my local member. His party are in opposition, but our paths have crossed a few times over the years most recently with me handing out HTVs for the LDP in the last election. Anyway he wrote back to me straight away (I emailed), saying that he knows licensed shooters aren't the problem (melbourne crime wave here), and that the focus of his party was not further restriction. I did note in my email to him that I saw the shadow police minister rubbish the upcoming amnesty as a waste of time & that progun voters paid close attention to this kind of thing. Anyway was positive. Further letters to be written.

We need a political party that is economically centre-left/socialist and and personal/social as right-wing/liberal.

Labor, Liberal, and Nationals all define themselves mainly along economic lines. Greens are the only ones that really define themselves with both those above aspects, and it's the personal/social freedom stuff that draws the most voters.

So, form a party that is centre-left but promotes personal freedoms, pair together freedoms that draw people from both ends of the spectrum, and show why it's important to support both sides.

So, why it's important for a right-wing Catholic to support gay marriage, and why it's important for an inner-Melbourne barista to support guns.

By giving the anti-gunners something retarded to cling onto rather than ">muhtin bryant" it's also made them easy to fight.

I'd say the public perception's definitely shifted a lot more towards gun rights in the last few years, especially among Asians.
And yeah, the firearms community is definitely stepping up a lot more.

The way I see it, we're going through the same stuff that America's gone through, just a couple of decades later.
Remember, if the antis are fighting us then it means they see us as a threat.

Didn't imply anything of the sort. Just that Melbourne is a cancerous place.
But please resume enjoying your shit tier sport (afl) and mourning the loss of the storm in the grand final without looking at the amount of "asylum seekers" handing out Islamic materials and the BLM protest your city had despite that being an American issue

Pretty much. A few years ago a company I worked for had a Ute stolen off a trailer.
Broome cops found it two days later, tray full of roo blood and guts and in the cab, two young coons off their chops on sniff.
>>
>>31587992
Yeah, from what I've heard cops went door to door and "talked down" firearms owners because they were worried about vigilantism.
But that's what happens when all your cops are transfers.

Transfers are the best though. The stories from the schoolies shuffles we get up here are amazing
