I mag dumped the overhand of our range by accident. My AK-74s trigger wasnt resetting so I popped the top cover off with the mag still loaded and round chambered. I tried to grap one of tails of the hammer spring but somehow that did something to the trigger and caused my rifle to shoot full-auto into the overhang.

I got kicked out after that. Fucking faggots.

I'm a corrections officer once a year we have to certify at the range. I came into the fold back when we carried 357 mags. So im issued and carry a Smith and Wesson model 27 Im buying it from my department too. any way that said story below.

Anyway, worst I've ever personally done on a range was shooting outdoors at a friends house, first time I ever handled a semi auto pistol and wasn't thinking about where it was ejecting to. Ended up pelting him about the head and shoulders with hot brass, one went down his shirt, good times.

Went to the local indoor range on my lunch hour to try out my new Glock 21. Some salty old fucker in an electronic wheelchair was in line in front of me. After he paid and got his target, the guy behind the counter asked if he wanted a hand getting the doors open to get into the range area. The old fart told him "I can do it."

Problem was, he couldn't. He got the first door open okay, and drove himself in. But the second door was so close to the first that his wheelchair was jamming door open. He goes ahead and opens the second door flooding the area with the sounds of about 10 guys blasting away on the firing line.

I never saw an old man in a wheelchair kicked out of a place before, but I was more than fucking okay with it.

I guess the worst I witnessed was a bunch of brits that came to vegas on vacation looking to shoot a gun. They were waving around a loaded 3rd burst M16, joking and laughing, pointing it at each other. I actually walked the fuck out and grabbed the RO. I wouldn't go back in until he was finished talking to them, in which case they left. There's no way I'm risking taking a bullet because some idiot brits want to joke around and wave around a loaded weapon after being explicitly told to do the exact opposite of that.

I don't really shoot with other people period. I don't have many range friends where we make a day of it or anything. On top of that, I know 10 year olds who can connect all their shots at 35 yards, the reason adults don't know how to shoot is because they were never taught properly. The kicker is when you ask them how long they've been shooting and their answer is "oh, about 5 years". Anyone shooting for over a week has no excuse not to know how to aim their firearm.

Well I've checked out one in Montana (2.5hr drive) and they're actually hosting a beginner pistol class for $40. They provide the ammo and the handgun. So I'm going to sign up for that and drive over, make a little vacation out of it while getting some handgun experience. In Canada I have my PAL but that doesn't cover pistols

She's 17, he's 19. They've known each other for years but finally started "dating" mostly because of about 4 years of persistence on his part, she figured going on a few dates would finally shut him up.
