What are /k/ approved high cap 9mm pistols? I'm kind of

Pretty much. The CZ is pure sex. Gun melts in your hand. Accurate as it can be. Minimal recoil.

But I get a failure to feed at least once every 50 rounds. Usually on the 2nd round. Which, if I had to use my gun, is the 2nd worst round to get a failure to feed on.

Got a lighter recoil spring and slightly long mag springs. And a dremel. Gonna swap out the springs, mirror polish the feedramp, and give the mags a good cleaning and dry wax the inside. Hopefully that'll up the reliability.

It's a great gun IF you get a reliable piece. If not, it'll take a bit of work.

Honestly, look at the P01. A bit smaller, still has 15 round capacity, and is concealable if you want to go that route. Also has a lot fewer people running into reliability problems.

Yeah, gonna replace the recoil spring first and see if that makes a difference. The sp01 loves it's +p ammo and I'm certainly not shooting +p most of the time, so a 13 lb spring (instead of the factory 18lb) might get rid of some of my issues.

If that doesn't work it's a toss up between me doing some work or hitting them up for the warranty.

The 75b is a decades old design that should absolutely not jam regularly (mines never jammed at all). Its likely just a lemon.

They dont even come close to fulfilling the same roles. If you want a gun to carry and you want a P-01, then "settling" would be getting a PCR instead. I'm getting a Steyr S9-A1. My first gun. I've been researching this shit for a year. When I found out about the plastic block in the magazine limiting the capacity to 10 I was devastated, then I read you just have to bend some feeder lips or whatever on the .40 mags and they will hold 12 rounds of 9mm and feed fine.

Still trying to decide whether I get the S9 or C9.. or just go ahead and get the L9. Fuck. I need to get something before the post-election street combat.

Near my house a few months ago there was a pretty fucking dramatic convenience store robbery with three guys, two of them with AR-15s, shooting at the bullet proof glass enclosure the employees managed to get in and lock right when they busted in. So you never know.

Might get the C9-A1 if I don't like the smaller S9 grip.

After I nail the 9mm handgun purchase down I can focus on my rifle purchase.
