Turtlecreek mag loader. There is a flange of metal that sticks out the side of mak magazines. The 9x18 mak rounds are stubby short little fucks so it makes getting the last 2 bullets in a bitch of a struggle. Card slides down the magazine and catches the metal so you can push down the floorplate with your pointer/middle+thumb.

Would highly recommend if you get the Makarov. Save your poor fingers.

Ok basically the makarov is worth it, ammo is ok price wise and its a nice historical gun which operates well and is fun. I'd recommend getting it for this price while you can.

SKS wise, they're good guns but for what they are it'd probably be better to get an ak of some type. That is unless you really can appreciate the historical value or already own an AK.
