Do you have any tabletop FFLs near you? There is a guy locally here who does transfers for $20 and thats essentially all he does. Once your shit comes in, he schedules you a 15 minute slot to come in and pick it up. Thats $80 an hour for him, assuming that person only transfers one firearm.

Fuck gun stores dude, local one told me $80 for a transfer and i asked him why its so high, his response was its a lot of work for them

I live in NY and my LGS has always has mountains of .22 ammo in stock at 10 cpr so I never understood why people were complaining about not being able to find .22 for sale. They charge like $30 for 10 round 10/22 mags though and everything they sell except ammo and used guns is jacked in price by a tremendous amount
