I've hunted alot of game with both tools and let me tell you.. i prefer a gun if its true survival because you just cant get more efficient then that.
However.... There is nothing in the entire world like hunting with tools that you made yourself from hand and carefully handcrafted over a lifetime of trial and error. Nothing is honestly more satisfying then landing that sweet "Thud" into a deer at over a football fields distance.

My compound is chrony'd at 354 and it still takes a second for my arrow to reach a target at that distance. His 110# stick barely pushes 200fps, that's 3 seconds to hit 100yds.
