I dont really like the looks of them that much.
Id rather just have a classic AK from the start and not even worry about spending more on it.

I saw an ak for 420$ that needs a 30round conversion that Im considering though.

I just want a sweet beater rifle that will last a lifetime, pack a punch, and have a world of history behind it.

The WASR doesn't have AK durability. But I agree the WASR looks cool and simple like an AK should. Get the 10/63 if you can. It has the AK muzzle brake that performs a lot better than you'd expect.

WASR10/63s are just budget AKs. i have no issue using one though i'd rather use an Arsenal SAM.

Ive watched a number of training videos where they had romanian wasrs from the 80s and crammed them with rocks, yet they still fired a full magazine.

They then ran them over with russian military trucks and they still worked. They were bent to fuck though.
