Unless you're going for the look then yes. It's really hard to adjust precisely. The black ring models are like $400. The white ring models are cheaper but then you have a white reticle, which sucks. Not SBR yet. Just picked it up a few weeks back. Haven't shot it. But the fit and finish is absolutely impeccable, and the dual buffer system is very neat.

Highly recommend this over the MPX. If you're in the market, there are really 3 choices for you, the EVO, the APC9, and a custom made MP5 clone from someone like Dakota Tactical. I sampled a Zenith yesterday, and the weld lines are disgusting.

The body is literally vaccuformed plastic in a clamshell form, which you fit the gun in, this isn't very structurally sound or sturdy, you hear the plastic creak with every grasp.

You then insert a linkage for the trigger, which is a pretty much just a rod, this gives you a stiff and unpleasant trigger pull, affecting your accuracy.

The front and rear sight of the things are made of the same plastic as the body, these sights are not very good, and they're not very strong.

A 10/22 in a muzzelite kit could be made a passable rangetoy, if you put in a bit of work (cut off the front sight, put on some cheap red dot on the carry handle in place of the sights you have, do a job on the trigger, etc), but it'll be a very far cry from the FN P90 or PS90.
