What's the most expensive gun you own and what's the most you are willing to pay for a new gun?

Pic related it's the most expensive gun I'm willing to buy at around 1k.
>>
Personally it's my AR-15, which was about $700.

I'd probably be willing to spend up to $3k for a gun, but I'm pinching pennies since I dropped $28k on a new truck.
>>
>>31374430
You over payed
>>
I paid 750 for my howa m1 carbine.

I don't know how high I'd be willing to pay, depends on the gun. Most expensive gun I'm interested in right now are AKs in the 700-900 range. I'd only buy it if I sell a few guns I no longer shoot though.
>>
I paid 1400 for my svt40 because it was the only one I had seen in person. Had been looking for one for 4 years.
>>
Most expensive I have depends on if I have my ACOG on my A4-gery with rail or not, that would add up to about $2600.

If not, my pre-'64 Win Model 70 .375 H&H, at $2500

I plan on getting an M82CQ some day, for the 9ish thousand they go for
>>
>Most expensive I own
WW1 era C96
>Most Im willing to pay
What ever the fair price is for the gun I want.
>>
>>31374579
fug, when I bought my SVT, I got it for 800. It wasn't shooting right though, so instead of dumping money to fix it up (a few hundred in new production gas parts IIRC), I just sold it. being the dumb ass I was, thinking 03 ffl can't sell for profit, I sold it for the same price I got it for.
>>
>What's the most expensive gun you own and
By overall cost, my AR15, which includes the tools to build it. As I build more ARs of course, those tools will pay for themselves.

By individual cost, my PTR-91 at $909.
>what's the most you are willing to pay for a new gun?
I don't really have a limit, but I want the price of the gun to be reflected by its value. For example, I think ~$900 was a fair price for my PTR-91, but I wouldn't pay SCAR17-tier prices for an HK91 because I don't think it's worth that much.
>>
>>31374758
Ar tools cost like 100 bucks.
>>
$800 Vepr-12 shotgun.

These were my most expensive. New, I'll probably shell out for an LRB M14 some day, so that.
>>
>>31374430
Including all attachments?

My PTR with a steel lower, wood furniture, and Heinsoldt.
>>
My flintlock is my most expensive gun, but even that was just 400 bucks.

I'll pay anything if i want it enough, but i usually limit myself to sub 500 bucks.
>>
Scope was $2.5k. But the SBR I built was $3.5K with everything on it.

As far as actual gun cost alone, I guess my 2011 that I'm building; $1600 or so.
>>
I spent $1,100 in 2012 - 2013 for a CMP Garand ... bought directly from them.

Most I'd be willing to pay $1,500 and that would be a really great condition SVT

I'm hoping to get one while they are still in the $1,200 range, but the moneys not there.

At $1,500 I top out. I already have a VEPR, so at that price I can't justify it.

>>31375089
I'd love to get one of these but only new. But they're impossible to find that way.

Guess I'll stick to a Korth :/
>>
I had to pay 1k for a 600 dollar AKM because I live in Commiefornia. Pretty much just sitting on it when they decide to ban it entirely.
>>
>>31376830
I'm sorry anon they took my eyes back in Grenada.
>>
>>31374430
for the gun alone from the dealer it was my AI, I spent 4500 for the rifle and a spare 26" bbl which I use instead of the factory one. If you include all accessories it will still be that, but it'll be much higher than that. I priced it out, and it made me chuckle because its over half of what my car cost. I drive a Scion xD
>>
I'd drop 2-3k on a super nice bolt action rifle or AR personally

most expensive weapon I got is a 600 dollar AR that I put about 350 dollars of parts and optics on
>>
>>31377067
it'll still be that gun
>>
M1 Garand, got it for around $850 which was far cheaper than I've seen for them. Not in bad shape either. Receiver and other parts were manufactured around 1944, though can never be certain. Only the barrel is fairly new. May end up costing more if I ever decide I want to bother with attaching a scope. Don't know if I want to muddle with potential historical value, etc. etc.

Would be willing to spend around 3k-ish on a gun currently. It would have to be a very nice AR or bolt-action rifle though with decent optics/scope to make it worthwhile though.
>>

This has a lot of money tied up in it and is the single most expensive gun I own because of what it took to put together. It is however not the most valuable gun I own.
>>
>>31374430

I currently have more money in my SCAR 16 than any other gun and I'd gladly pay whatever market value was for a gun I could afford and want to buy. Not going to drop 10k+ on an autosear any time soon but I'll sure as hell pay an extra few hundred for a 17 when one comes available.
>>
>>31377387
i put one together too, except i used a slick slide colt upper receiver, a cmmg 9mm lower receiver, and it's not a SBR.

the only thing i regret more than putting it together is not selling it during the 2013 scare.
>>
Most expensive one I have is probably my AAC MPW but I want to get rid of it.

Right now, not much more than $1100. That may change if I can sell my MPW

>Most expensive gun you own
Let's break that down..
-Most I've paid for a gun when I bought it was $800 for a used S&W 29 Classic .44 mag
-Most a gun I own is currently worth looks to be at least $1,400 or more for my PSL (I paid $700 a few years ago). I've got the Rhineland Arms Dragunov style furniture so I might be able to sell it for quite a bit more. Looks like they're selling for over $2,000 new on gunbroker these days.
-Most expensive gun that I will some day own will be my grandfather's highly engraved Remington Sportsman 48F. It's a family heirloom, his father-in-law (my grandmothers dad) bought it new in 1950 for $650. As best I can tell we saw one just like it listed online for $6,500 a while back.
>Most I'm willing to pay for a gun
Depends entirely on the gun and how badly I want it. I want a Tavor, AR-10 and something chambered in .50 bmg or .338 lapua.
>>
>>31377523
Holy shit I'm completely retarded, just woke up from a nap but that's no excuse.
The most expensive gun I own is my AR on the floor there. It's fully left handed with a side charging handle built on an 80% lower. In all I've got about $2,300 tied up in it.

Most expensive, M82A1.

~$1100 Bushmaster XM-10 MOE

I might pay up to $1500 if it was worth it, but IMO past that point, I'd suspect my relatively low skill would not make a gun more expensive make sense to own.

the most expensive is a P.08 which I didnt actually pay for.

I have just over 2k in a AR sbr but that includes optics and a can so I cant really say it was spent on the gun.

Most Id pay, 10k-ish on a full fun.

Zastava M76 at around $1500.

The most I've paid so far was $800 for my Colt Trooper Mk III.

>What's the most expensive gun you own
In today's value: a preban Norinco AK that I've seen sell for $1600 for the same gun imported by the same importer in worse condition than mine
That I've paid on a single gun: my StG-58 that I paid $1200 for
That I've paid for a gun plus accessories: my SLR-104 that I paid $999 for plus somewhere around $3000 in mags, ammo, and optics

>what's the most you are willing to pay for a new gun?
Depends on the gun and what the gun offers for the money. I'd have no problem dropping $2000 to $3000 on a single gun if I felt it was worth it, but for the most part the max I'm willing to spend on a single gun is around $1500 unless I'm really really wanting something that'll cost more. I'd have no problem dropping a few thousand on something like an FS2000 or Galil or SCAR17S or something like those.

Colt GCNM, which was $1250 and worth every penny. A custom 1911 or a Python are the only handguns that I would even consider paying more for, and I would go up to $2k for a fancy battle rifle. It's nice to buy a cheap gun once in a while and have maybe one or two real gems. Keeps them special, and separates a hobby from a compulsion.

Right now I wouldn't go over 800, but once I'm done with school and have a better job that number can raise substantially.

1958 Browning A-5 Light 20 Magnum, in box, never fired. I paid $400 for it but seems to be worth north of $3000 (feel free to chime in)

>most I've ever paid for a gun

Put about $1500 into my first AR build. MFW

I will own a legit BAR one day, so a lot as long as I can afford it and it is worth it. Right now I can't really justify much over $1000 and that takes some doing

>What's the most expensive gun you own

Probably a CZ 550 American in 6.5x55mm Swede with a Leupold 3-9x40mm scope with Alaska Arms QD rings, (I bought those) that came in a Cabelas canvas gun case.

Dunno what it costs, as it was gifted to me after a friend died.

I just bought one of the same, it's a CZ 527 carbine in 7.62x39. Just an all around fun brush gun, the it's a so called "micro-mauser" action so I don't know what's so strange about it. And x39 has universal appeal, reasonably cheap pinking and a decent short range hunting round.

Currently, it's my M14 Clone, all HRA USGI Parts, save for the Receiver which is an LRB. Got a Faux Selector on it and... since it's in CA, I've a goofy-ass Muzzlebrake on it but have the Flashhider for when I can get it out of state.

4x 20rnd Mags (OOS) and 2x 10rnders, too. Also have mount for it to mount my AN/PVS-2. Still need a Sling, Bayo, Bipod and other accessories.

Cost me approx $2,600 to put it all together. It'll be beaten out of the most expensive spot once my Stgw.57 is finished. Will have approx $,4050 in that once when it's done.

I think I could reasonably drop up to $2,500 on a gun all at once. More if it's a layway or bough-in-parts sort of deal the Stgw.57.
>>
>>31378886
I have an M107A1. Not sure if I would even recommend it to anyone. Some days I think a Serbu BFG-50A would have been a better choice, because I would actually be able to hit shit with it. I'm tired of it's usual 4-5MOA accuracy in 5-shot goups regardless of ammo.

Ive only had to spend 120$ on a gun(mosin), all my guns are either heirlooms, trades, or gifts. You fags have shitty family, ive got 9 guns in total. But im willing to spend what ever i feel like the gun is worth. As long as i like i will save and spend quite a bit of money.

But for the most i prefer to spend less than 1k, because i prioritize decent quality and more quantity then great quality and limited quantity.

>>31386421
he would have to be more than just normal obese, this dude would have to way upwards of 500lbs.

im about 325lbs and i have never had a problem getting into or fitting in any truck. The only time i had a problem with a vehicle in general was when i hopped in a sport mini cooper and cause an obvious tilt in the car.(but i fit just fine).

I recently bought one too.
Too bad the Russian steel core surplus dried up here in Sweden as soon as my paperwork cleared and I actually got the gun home.

Now it's impossible for me to find ammo for it.

That would be $3500 for two colt revolvers.

Probably the most expensive gun I own is my M1 Garand for $1300. It was the first gun I'd ever bought and I didn't know about the CMP at the time.
>>
>>31388443

I'm not going to pay used car prices for a decent clip on nvg optic. Rear mounting is plenty good for coyote hunting out to 200 yds. A $3.5k gen 3 autogated PVS-14 is hardly low rent anon.
>>
My AR was probably about $1100/$1200 when it's all totalled together. Im having an AK about by a local guy that will be a grand when I get it in a month.

Based on some of the responses ITT I feel like I'm spending too much but I'm a recent (since may) hasguns and I just wanted to buy the two main salt weapons before November in case the prices skyrocket if Hilldog wins. At least the one benefit of nogf is being able to spend every extra dollar you earn on funs and funs accessories.

This is my most expensive gun.

I think I spent around 1300 pre tax on it, around 1000 for the optic mounts and bipod.

My second most expensive is my bushmaster ORC I paid 850 for right when the weapons ban lifted. Could pick the same gun up now for mid 500 so I over paid a few hundo, then I bought an ACOG for it which was another 950 or so and added a single point sling which put that guns total price to nearly 2k.

>>31381402

If you wanted to fuck, you could have just asked.
>>
>>31374430
Put down about $1300 CAD on my AR-15 excluding optics. The most I would pay for a gun would be $3000 for a new SR-25.

1200 € for the Ruger AR-556. And 670 € for a glock 26 spent on the same day.

EU g26 has also only two mags included...
These are pretty much normal prices in Belgium.
