Flamethrower general
Just picked up my x15, and 50 gallons worth of napalm mixer. My first flamethrower was homemade.

You clear brush or is it just for shits and giggles?

Photography, shits & giggles, prep, buy before any ban and/or restrictions are made. Besides how can you say no?

How many dollarydoos?
on FPisSRussias video this thing was leakin shit everywhere, I kinda like the lil one better but its more expensive
>>31362187
Bumping for how many dollarydoos were spent.

$1881 for entire set up

After testing it, I've discovered he kinda releases the trigger slower causing some of the leakage, and also that it does do it to a small extent naturally. Still not as bad as m2/m2as

Its not as easy but you still can. You can get a permit. If you're caught with one and no permit, it's only a misdemeanor. But it also depends on the town/city you live in (might have specific rules).

Xm42 is cheaper. I don't know what its exact fuel is but i don't think its compatible with napalm or diesel. Looks like just gas. It only gets a 25 foot range. It has its pros and cons, but i opted for the x15.

the god damn state is a tinder box, dont be a dummy
I made a shitty one years ago with a caulking gun, zippo, zippo butane, a hair tie and some metal scrap. I remade it a few years later, I'll show you guys the second gen of this dumb creation when i get off of work.

Damn thing only went 1-3 feet

You could make a better flamethrower with a squirt gun, gas, torch.

I thought of that originally when i started that now forsaken project, but i was concerned that the plastic would be eaten away by the gas. Obviously it can be done considering you van just youtube it, but at the time i was constructing mine there wasn't anything on YouTube

I bought an XM-42. It's less expensive, like you mention, and also a lot lighter and simpler to use, but at the disadvantage of having a lot shorter capacity and range than the X-15.
I don't get around as well as I used to, otherwise I'd probably have gone for the X-15, but the XM-42 just worked out better in my circumstances.
You can use many flammable liquids through the 42. So far I've only tried gasoline, alcohol and mixtures of the two, but supposedly others have successfully used things like kerosene, gas/diesel mixtures and other things. You could even use whiskey if you wanted, but wouldn't exactly be the most cost-effective fuel.
Basically the XM-42 is just an electrical high pressure fuel pump. Sort of like a battery operated high pressure car wash sprayer, except it sprays flammable liquids. Power for the motor is an internal rechargeable lithium battery.
The fuel stream is ignited by a pilot light at the tip which has a piezo-electric push-button igniter and runs on small cans of butane. Range can vary depending on battery charge and what fuel you use, but can be around 25-30 feet.

So why not build your own?
Yuo also need to track down the mix. They have a horrible price markup on it.

Give your best review on it. I like the xm42. The x15 is very simple, its just a tank large tank of fuel, with a co2 tank hooked up to give it pressure and a burnzomatic torch hoseclamped to it. There's 2 valves; one attached to the co2 tank and one on the fuel tank. The pressure Guage is in between both.

I'm at a point in my life that I'd rather just buy one instead. Yeah the napalm is a tad much in price, but i don't have to use it. I can use diesel as a substitute or i can use anything flammable. I've been using just gasoline in it last few times. If i really need to i can just go nigger some napalm out of Styrofoam.
Here's my homemade flamethrower i made years ago, in the second and last version. Pleb shit

Won't work. That isn't actual napalm and needs benzene to be even remotely fluid enough to flow through a werfer.

It also looks like dogshit
