>For those who don't know, a revolver is a pistol with revolving chambers that allow multiple shots to be fired without reloading.

It's subtle, but you can tell they're trying to scare people who know fuck-all about guns with the way they word this shit. Same thing with the other guns they picture. Not really unless the media just eats itself alive. Jimmy Fallon apparently still has a show, and had Trump on it last night. Because he didn't sit there and either attack him or passive aggressively make fun of Trump the whole time the media is calling him a Trump fanboy and a whole bunch of other ridiculous shit.

We're at the point entertainers literally can't be nice to people that are somewhat conservative/pro 2A unless they want to be attacked by their own fans.

It's not just guns. Shit happens with anything really. People really just want an "expert" to back them up. They don't really want advice. they want to feel smart. I deal with this shit with electronics all the time.

>friend has computer problems/wants new electronics/phone whatever

>>
>>31362443
Dunno but there are some other italian shotguns that have this function
>>
>>31362443
Not all ammo (especially low-pressure rounds) will cycle reliably in semi-autos. The optional pump-action eliminates that issue.
>>
>>31362273

It was also demonized, and I think mainly, because the early tec-9 could be VERY easily converted into a fully automatic weapon by gangs. So it was cheap, and could be converted into a fully automatic weapon. The exact number used by gangs I don't know, but Intratec quickly fixed the issue and made it so it was no easier to convert to full auto than any other weapon.

However, the damage was done. The tec-9 was the new "gangland violence weapon" and just like brass knuckles or switchblade knives was banned because of fear and ignorance. Seriously, the tec-9 is banned by name in almost every "assault weapons ban" to this day, despite having fallen almost completely out of favor and being much more rare.

Women are not into men who cuck the fuck out and let them walk all over them.
When will guys fucking learn this ancient truth
>>
>>31363571
Unfortunately, my friend is kinda beta. He's kinda timid too. But he's still my friend and I tried. I even tried talking to her about it a few times and explaining how guns aren't nearly as bad or scary as all those media sources make them out to be, but she wouldn't listen.

>>31363550
kek. The worst part about it is that she's not even a bad person. She's actually pretty likable and pleasant to be around but goes 100% sperg mode when guns are mentioned.

using gunbroker really skewed the results

basically, they managed to get a list of the guns where demand outstrips supply instead of the guns with the highest production numbers or sales

Technically they're not since there's no rounds cycling. Sure you can fire it twice without cocking it, but that does not a semiautomatic weapon make.
>>
>>31364714

>most popular
>according to gunbroker

that's how. This dumb bitch is trying to say that the guns that sell well on fucking gunbroker is somehow representative of the most popular guns. She states very clearly that there is no way to actually tell what models of guns sell the best.... only what type of guns are produced the most according to ATF. everything else, she just went by top sellers on gunbroker.

Can somebody explain what they are trying to refer to by "Pistol grips"? They mean a shotgun without a buttstock, right?

Or are they referring to some kind of short barrel shotgun with a pistol grip and a forward vertical grip?
>>
>>31366038
They don't even fucking know what they're trying to refer to.

There's one thing I take away from this.

I am honestly amazed that this sort of "scare culture" doesn't exist with cars, cuz fucking no one knows how those work either.
>>
>>31364543

To be fair it's doubtful she even has a full understanding of what a barrel is. That's about the only way you could get that so totally and completely wrong.

> A "Racing car" is used by teenage boys, who can simply use the "Car show loophole" to buy a car like this capable of going at speeds up to and over 150 miles per hour to participate in dangerous speed races at night that endanger civilians and frequently result in deaths
> Nobody needs to go at 150mph. We're just calling for common sense car regulation, like in Europe. Each day hundreds of Americans die in car accidents - how many more must die before we see sense?
> An "Assault truck" can kill up to 100 people at once and is equipped with bulletproof doors and windows to block police bullets. An assault truck like the one in the picture was used in a terror attack to kill hundreds of people in France

The only reason I even say it is because not everyone fully understands how they work. There are people who would believe me if I said a Helsinki smash-rod, bumper return spring or turn signal actuator were a thing.

The only difference between cars and guns is that numerous cars are seen by the average North American human every day. They still fucking murder more people in a week than guns do, despite having federally-mandated safety equipment and rules for operation. When you bring this up to a gun-hating libfag, all you get is
>Hurr they weren't designed to kill people tho
And yet they still do.
>>
>>31366245
People try to scare you off motorcycles like they do with guns. It's not as bad as with guns, but if you ride you'll often get all the "Why do you need something that goes that fast?" and links to articles/videos anytime someone bites it on a motorcycle. And then you get one or two assholes that got tired of losing every gun debate trying to campaign for motorcycle limits/bans/running motorcyclists off the road and committing murder because they're mad about lane splitting instead.
>>
>>31366837
>>Hurr they weren't designed to kill people tho
>And yet they still do.

I find that to be a good comeback/zinger that'll stop people who are shit at debating from aggravating you. Just say "So devices that aren't meant to kill are responsible for many more deaths than devices that ARE meant to kill, and you want to ban these?" And if they try to bring up how many cars are in the US, just bring up the number of guns.

No, its a Deadliest Warrior episode. Apaches, the fierce, mounted warriors of the plains who terrorized America into the 1920's. Versus the Taliban, a fundamentalist Islamist group that forcibly took control of Afghanistan and paved the way for the September 11th terrorist attacks on the united States.

I tried, but the CA legal AR I was using wouldn't allow me to point the gun at myself while simultaniously pulling the trigger. Not to mention because I'm fat the reduction in bullet capacities of the CA legal firearms, the paramedics got there before I could actually be dead.

Essentially the new CA legal AR saved my life to my disappointment.

Do you even know the women who sre into that? They are mostly SJW types or bleeding hearts. I understand its a fetish and shouldn't be a reflection of the type of persom you are, but in this case it fucking is.
>>
>>31371024
That's not what libel is at all. Libel is when they do it an it damages a person's reputation.

We're talking about times where they claim to be giving facts but are just plain wrong. For example if they were to print an article claiming that Cougars are strict herbivores, or that Chicago has the lowest murder rate in the developed world.

There is a fine line to walk here, but their should be effort undertaken to enforce a separation between news and fiction.
>>
>>31371244
My apologies, I should have fact checked the definition. I do remember my attorney father telling me this though.

The they can spin that is by qouting a study out of context.

For example the full text said "when the scientist only fed the test cougar vegan products, it became a strict herbavore."

Or

"When the city of chicago was being bombed in the great canadian war, it temporarily had the lowest rate of murder in the developed world"

Yes it is bullshit, yes the loophole that allows for partial truths is huge fucking issue that needs to be resolved because people trust the news out of ignorance (the literal definition of ignorance, not out of stubborness although some do). The only solution is to tell people not to trust the media but the only way to do so would be through media.
